“We were suppose to get the older room peppermill tower with a view of the mountain/city however we received a room with a view of a construction. The front desk moved us and upgraded us to Tuscany Tower which is the new building, it was a very beautiful and huge room with double king bed and plasma TV in the bedroom and a bathroom. Beautiful. However we travel with young children and there was no microwave or hot thermos to mix the formula. Overall we are very satisfied and memorable room.”

“Nice place would stay again, clean rooms, nice staff. Wish it was within walking distance to the main strip so we didn't have to take the cab. Oh well, nice place can't say enough that the staff was wonderful!”

“I requested two rooms and booked them for as close as possible to each other (same floor). The 2nd room when other party checked in was changed to another tower of the hotel and the staff said "well if first come first serve". What ever happen to reserving a room?”

“The room was nice, but not 4-star quality as it was touted to be. The food is pretty generic at the low and medium price levels. When given the chance, the staff was the best part of the hotel. They were pretty harried by the volume of people that were there. I suspect the hotel part of the casino is running as learn as it can. All-in-all, a decent place to stay if you can avoid the gaming floor.”

“They upgraded us from a regular tower room to a remodeled tower room and it was beautiful. Romania restaurant and Steakhouse are excellent. Staff is very friendly. When the remodel is done, it will be the best hotel in the area.”

“The hotel will be great once all construction/upgrading is done. The Casio was good but there was no price on the buffet and no menu, when we asked it was really expensive and for the reason we do not know.”

“Over all it was a good hotel. Unfortunately, the front desk clerk wrote the wrong room number on the key jacket. It was occupied and rather embarrassing. Once I found a house phone they gave me the correct room number, but with no apology nor apparent concern.”

“I didn't have a very good stay. One guys at the front desk was a complete moron about my company credit card. He almost made me find a different motel to stay in cause my name wasn't on the card because it was business. The food wasn't that great and it was expensive, and the room that I stayed in wasn't quiet at all because they were doing construction out side from early in the morning till pretty late in the evening. I hated staying at this place.”

“The Tuscany suite was so nice. We loved it! But in the casino the lights are really bright. It takes getting use to. Best place I have ever stayed. Noticed, when we got there, that it was for nonsmoking. So we upgrade to the Tuscany suite. Wow I am glad!”

“Major construction in progress. Had to walk outside around a large construction area to get to room. Tried to return to main casino area through rear of hotel where my room was located but found all doors locked. Had to walk at least 1/2 mile around hotel down a dark street in bad neighborhood before I could get back in to casino area. Never saw any outside security. Very bad experience. I would have changed hotels if my wife had been with me.”

“Great casino. Great dining options. Stayed in one of the older rooms that desperately need a makeover. The decor was stuck in the 70's. Furniture chipped and some of the drawers were broken. Room was big and clean though. Liked the automated check-in kiosk and the Valet parking (semi-automated) was lightning fast!”

“We booked a suite in the Tuscany Tower, beautiful room but we needed extra pillows. I hurt my knee skiing & wanted to sleep with it elevated. I called the front desk that transferred me to housekeeping. Then housekeeping transferred me to the Tuscany Tower housekeeping. We come back from dinner almost 3 hours later. No pillows. I call the front desk. I specifically ask for the Tuscany Towers housekeeping. I get transferred to the general housekeeping number again who transfers me to the Tuscany Towers housekeeping. Twenty-five minutes later, still no pillows! I attempted to call their concierge, since supposedly they can get you whatever you need. The line rang, no answer, no voicemail. I called the front desk again & asked to speak to a manager. No manager at the front desk. I explained my frustration. The woman informed me that staff has strict rules that they are not allowed to enter the room without a guest inside & also informed me that I had caught housekeeping at their shift change and she apologized for the delay. She asked me specifically if I would prefer foam or feather pillows. I said to send up feather pillows. She told me "your wish is our command!" About 10 minutes later foam pillows were delivered. I thought it was a hotels job to pay attention to details and keep their customers happy. My boyfriend & I go to bed around 1:00am. Around 7:30am I am awoke by construction noise in the courtyard. The noise is loud enough that neither my boyfriend or I can go back to sleep. My boyfriend gets in the shower & I attempt to bury my head in the pillows and catch a few more minutes of sleep. I hear a knock at the door & housekeeping is attempting to let themselves into my room! If we hadn't have put the swing lock on the door they would have walked right into the room! I showered & we checked out. I asked to speak to a front desk manager. A gentleman came to address my concerns. After explaining the events that led us to checking out early, his reply was "I can give you $25 off your room for the pillow inconvenience." He also told me that the Peppermill has been under construction for over a year & a half and the reservation desk should have explained that to me when I booked the room. I told the desk manager that if I had known about the construction I would have booked a room across the courtyard & been able to sleep in.”

“Hotel was nice. I would stay there again. Staff was friendly. Looking forward to the opening of the remodel and pools. The room we stayed was out dated but clean. The beds are not comfortable at all. We did leave our sons stuffed bunny and they did not find it.”

“The motel was going to put us into when we arrived. They were going to put us in a room away from the motel on the back side of the establishment. The bathroom had mold growing in the shower. Would never stay at this motel again.”
