  • Every thing I need was within the hotel. Room service was fast and fresh.
  • Couldn't call ahead for valet to bring my car up.

“Clean, quiet, even in the heart of Reno. I am a long time Reno Resident and was home from the east coast on family and personal business. It was everything I needed.”

  • Olivia had great customer service.
  • No refrigerator and microwave in rooms.

“The parking space are to small, I had too stay in a smoking room when I don't smoke (the room smell like smoke the second I walked in).”

  • How there was pretty much everything there in the hotel didn't have to drive anywhere.
  • Not many restaurants stay open late.

“I loved this hotel my boyfriend and I don't get to spend much alone time together he is in the military and it was just a nice fun time for us. We hope to go back the weekend after next with a whole group of friends.”

  • it was by other good places.

“No one at the Hotel seemed to care about your stay, and if you could find what was needed, we were given directions to set some where else because there is no buffet or medium style restaurant.”

  • Clean and safe, nice view.
  • The toilet did not flush well. Very weak flush. Must be the new flush system they inputted.

“The security they had in place is good. I like it a lot compared to most of the other hotels. It was clean and everything was very near and accessible.”

  • Convenience of restaurants and other facilities.
  • Room was not clean and beds were too hard.

“Rooms were not clean and the beds were very hard for a three star hotel. The hotel is attached to a casino and there were lots of restaurants and stores within walking distance.”

  • Elevators slow during peak hours.

“We had a room on the 36th floor, great view, very quiet, no cigarette smell. Room was updated, clean, and spacious, with comfortable beds.”

  • It was local to very thing.
  • The rooms.

“The room was awful. We're unable to pick a non-smoking room, type of bed that we would like. We were there a 3:oop.m (check in time) and they we stated that we are not guaranteed a room.”

  • Had to pay to access the gym and hot tub.

“A beautiful hotel with extremely comfortable accommodations. Friendly staff, fun casino. Connection to the El Dorado and Circus made the activities/dining 3 times the fun.”

  • Gambling.
  • Rude staff. Tried to give us smoking room. Terrible room.

“We were treated very rudely by check in woman. We booked a king no smoking room. She tried to give us a queen smoking room. When I protested over and over about smoking room she gave us a handicap room (king/no smoke) directly behind the elevator. My parents were with us and had booked their room also. Miraculously, immediately after us, they received the room they had requested. We did not realize the noise in the room until late that night when we came up to room to sleep. Called the front desk to complain, but they said they could do nothing about it at that hour (11 pm). We did not get any sleep because of the grinding of the elevator all night long. Will never stay at the Silver Legacy again.”

  • Conveniently located on the Reno strip.
  • No free Wi-Fi wireless for business travelers.

“I went to Reno on a leisure trip, combined with getting some business done. The hotel is nice and clean, rooms were nicely furnished. The hotel seems to nickel and dime you though to make up for the low cost of the room. For example, I needed wireless internet so I could get some work done as well, but had to pay $9.99 per day for the service. We also had a $3 per day for a "resort fee", supposedly to cover parking for both rooms - but parking is free anyway so I didn't see the point. The other negative was the hotel gym was $8 per day per person to use, so we found ourselves driving several miles away to use a 24 hour Fitness - lucky we have an all club membership. The hotel itself is very clean and nice, but don't expect any fluff of a true "resort" unless you pay for it.”

  • It was close to concert venue, beautiful lobby.
  • The room did not meet expectations the lobby set.

“I could very well be that I got what I paid for. However, I have stayed in hotels with beds that I wanted to take home with me. Stays in hotels are a rarity for me, and I wanted my room to be more luxurious. It was not far removed from a Motel 6, where I would have paid less. I was in Reno to attend a Silver Legacy concert, which was itself such a disappointing experience that I cannot look back on an "adventure" for my daughter's 18th birthday with fondness. Especially as we drove from the Central Valley of California, and through snow, to get there.”

  • Not Much of anything.
  • The customer service.

“My key didnt work in the room so they moved me to a different room?? (Not sure why) my key didnt work in the new room either. I had to go down to get a new key 8 times (I counted) while I was there. As soon as I got settled in my room I went downstairs to grab a beer to take back to the room. I was there on business. While I was doing that I got a Visa card stolen and $100 in cash. I did all the steps you do when your room gets broken into, filled out a report. The person who came in my room left a water bottle in there which was told to security. It has been two in half weeks and I have heard nothing from the hotel. I have called I have e-mailed with no response. The day I left I went to guest relations manager's office and told him what happened he said he needed to look at the report I filled out and he would get back to me. I havent heard back from him. I called him because he called me while I was out about a week after it happened but when I called him back he had no idea who I was. I had to tell him again what happened and he said he would get back to me, again by Friday. Still havent heard anything! The worst customer service on the planet. My family and friends go to Reno every year to attend Street Vibrations. There are about 200 of us. There are about 150 of us that always stayed at Silver Legacy. We will be staying somewhere else from now on. I know that doesnt put a dent in there profit but its 150 people who will not step foot in any of the hotels that are with Silver Legacy! It really is a shame!”
