• Queen beds were comfortable.
• Coffee ran out breakfast was not worth getting up for.

“The queen beds seemed newer and comfortable but the pillows hard the towels really scratchy and the breakfast sub par. Also you could hear every noise around the hotel.”

• I did not like anything about this hotel! It was the worst hotel I ever stayed at.
• Dirty room, pool and parking lot, in a gang infested neighborhood, had to buy blankets theirs were disgusting.

“The hotel reception clerk asked me to pay extra $11 for my daughter. He said that the room is only good for one person so I pay.”

• I can not think of any thing in that regard since it was the worst part of my trip.
• Not clean, room location close to vending machines, noisy environment, in-room coffee packages too old.

“The room looked like it hadn't been cleaned properly after it had been use previously, and we had to leave the door open almost all the time because of the terrible unusual smell inside the room. It was almost impossible to sleep that night because of the outside noises coming from upstairs and the adjacent room, plus the vending machine and ice maker right under our window. Breakfast was the most terrible. The orange juice was diluted with water and the muffins were out of their original packaging and were cut in half. It was the worst night of my two weeks road trip vacation with my wife.”

• I was content with the hotel rates.
• The rooms are too small, and I question the cleanliness.

“This place is a mediocre hotel to stay at in the Merced area. There wasn't much of a continental breakfast. The price is great if you are just planning on using the facility to sleep, don't depend on the other perks to attract you.”

“50's style room was small, Walls needed repair. Yet all the comforts I like were there hair dryer, coffee maker, TV, Air, even a safe.”

• The cable had plenty of channels.
• The price was the same as regular price, the customer service left us waiting at the front desk longer then ten minutes,.

• The hotel is located very close to the freeway.
• It is located too far from Yosemite--about a two-hour drive from the exit.

“The overall quality of the hotel is enjoyable. The provision of a microwave and mini refrigerator is convenient to travellers who'll get hungry at night. However, the air conditioner is weak and it takes awhile to cool the room. The pervasive theme of the bear decor is bordering on pure kitsche. It may be appropriate for young children, but not at all suitable for adult business travellers.”

• The people were friendly, it was a nice quiet place.
• The beds were old, and sagging, the shower head needed replacing, the vent in bathroom was too loud.

“Other than the items I mentioned above, the hotel was a decent place to stay, although they could have given me a extra door key card when I asked, but they declined.”

• The staff was very friendly and nice.
• Rooms too tiny.

“The little motel was outstandingly clean and the help were all very nice. Parking was bad, as there were too many cars for the spaces. Refrigerator did not work and the TV had a few problems. They tried to fix what was wrong. Old motel, but newly painted and clean. For price it was fine.”

• Neat and clean. Continental breakfast.
• When I asked for 2 beds, they said it would cost $75.00.

“I am a senior citizen and I travel with my sister in law. When this motel wanted almost 2 times the accepted rate to accomodate us with 2 beds, I was not happy. We made do with one bed.This motel meets the basic needs of the average traveler and is fine for overnight stays.”

• The exterior appearance was up to date and clean and cozy looking.
• Generally it was clean, but the room trim crevices and grout were dirty.

“This hotel was a nice place to stay for a reasonable price. I felt safe there, and it was clean. Having a microwave and refrigerator was helpful, however with the coffee maker there was only regular coffee supplied. The continental breakfast consisted of muffins and bananas. I would stay there again if I were strapped for cash.”

• They stayed up so we could check in after 11 pm
• Extremely small rooms, dirty walls, cobwebs, repairs visible, no ironing board, shower curtain smelled like urine

• Location to Yosemite.
• Fumigation for cockroaches smelled strong, dead cockroach.

“The motel did not accommodate us by providing substitute rooms after we found dead cockroach in one room and strong fumigation smells in another.”

• It had a refrigerator

“Rooms really dirty, walls had wood rot throughout, the wallpaper was falling off, the bedspread had holes and the box spring had no cover on it. After the maid service on the second day actually found a couple of blood spots on the bathroom floor. I really expected more from a Travelodge. Motor 6 is better than this one. Could have stayed there for less money and had a better room.”

• The staff was very unfriendly on the phone. Would not make accommodations for two beds instead of one. Wanted to charge me a fortune to get a two bed

“If you get a room next to the laundry room don't expect a warm shower in the morning. The staff was very friendly, and asked if I would like to bathe in a room across the hotel where I could guarantee warm water. My friends in the same hotel had plenty of hot water though.”
