“I would not return to this hotel again. Even though it was only 2 stars, I still expect a room that's clean and in good repair. It was certain not a "quality" inn.”

“My wife and I took a weekend trip to Pismo and being a frugal person I found the cheapest hotel I could that was close to the pier. I was rather pleased with our stay, the continental breakfast was pretty good, the room was clean, and the location was great (It's right behind the Pismo Outlets). Our only complaint was that the ventilation was really bad, after you took a shower the who room was stuffy, and the room smelled funky so we bought a candle at Rite-Aid.”

“Good quality motel in Pismo Beach. Rooms were clean and well equipped. Could have improved on the bathrooms some in terms of fixtures.”

“Compared to other hotels in the area is good. The location is not within walking distance to the beach, but there are restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Overall better than expected.”

“Okay for a one night while traveling, pool was small. Lots of noise and no elevator. Complimentary breakfast was not that good and quantity was lacking.”

“They questioned us on having a guide dog and wanted to see my husbands I.D. The morning we were going to check out, we went to breakfast and came back to our room to find that they had cleaned it and had to get out stud from the maid.”

“I formerly stayed here on 4 or 5 occasions, for the outage work at the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Plant. When I stay for the outages, it is for 6 to 8 weeks. I always regarded this place as old and dilapidated, but enjoyed the quick freeway access, the fridge and microwave, and the Jacuzzi with the "waterfalls". The windows frequently had no locks, and when requested, they would give me .25c thumb screw locks. I never would leave anything in the room that would give me replacement hassle. When you leave the room, the lock you'll use is not a deadbolt, but the common lock your home doorknob has. If you are inside the room, and only then, can the deadbolt be activated. If you are on the north facing side, the back of the motel, your view will be of a junkyard, RV storage area immediately below you! Yet I put up with this. No more! I made telephone reservations for the outage March 4, 2007. They forgot to mention that the Jacuzzi and pool area were closed for construction. Forgot to tell me the entire pool area, lounges and tables were closed, with construction junk in plain, open, complete eyesore view. Forgot to tell me that the entire north section was having major construction being done. Forgot to inform that the construction contractors would be leaving their garbage all over the north walk ways. Most importantly, they forgot to inform me that the entire phone system could only receive calls, and that the phones would not call outside of the motel! I was greeted by the worst stained carpet of my life. I travel a lot and have never stayed in any motel with carpet this filthy. No decent business would regard this carpet in my room as being fit for anything other than use in a workshop. The bathroom light fixture, having the bulb dangling thru the ceiling, with no fascia covering for the fixture, the shower head protruded thru a square cut hole in the drywall, again, no fascia covering. The sink had no drain stop, and five cigarette holes were burned into the bed spread! In spite of all this, they charged me the "Diablo outage rate." After 2 nights, I left for another hotel, which was newly renovated, and charged me the same. Do you wish to stay here? I used to and won't again.”

“Good value for the money. We didn't any of the problems that were reported by others. The bed was solid and the linen was clean and not soiled. The bathroom was clean.”

“I chose this hotel because it was the cheapest option available. It has a nice hot tub, and is close to good food, good coffee and outlet shopping, as well as a bus stop. It does have a cheap feel to it (bright mismatched sink, lamp not connected to light switch, smoke detector hanging from the ceiling, dirty outside chair inside the room) but it has the requisite bed & bathroom, friendly staff, and was the closest (on the web searches, at least) to my price range. Next time I'll probably pay closer attention to location, and check the yellow pages as well as the web searches.”

“BIG Difference so in the future I will try booking directly instead of booking through the hotels directly. My hotel dates on my confirmation were different than what the hotel had me booked for but were able to accommodated me.”
