• Easy highway access, large rooms with nice furnishings, and close to attractions.
• Could use a little freshening up, paint, plaster, etc.

“Not your run-of-the-mill hotel, but could use a little freshening up. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. Evening reception and full morning breakfast was nice. Price was reasonable considering it was peak season. Would stay at this property again.”

• Cheap, convenient location, clean, free Wi-Fi, hot breakfast.
• Light bulb burned out in bedside lamp.

“We were looking for an inexpensive place to sleep 3 adults and 1 kid that was conveniently located and had free internet. This place fit the bill, the two room suite arrangement allowed more privacy than a more usual two beds in a big room arrangement, and was a much better deal (nicer, too!) than the Holiday Inn Express we stayed at the next evening.”

• Clean hotel rooms, nice pool, courtyard for child's play.
• New mattress, they didn't unwrap plastic on kids bed.

“The rooms were wonderfully clean and fresh! The kids enjoyed the pool and open courtyards to run around after a long day in the car. Complimentary breakfast was perfect for our family of four.”

• Wading pool for children, reception and buffet breakfast.
• Room smelled a bit like cigarette smoke.

“Excellent for families with children or with pets. Good value with essential amenities and bonuses like the evening reception and full complimentary buffet breakfast. Centrally located and easy to park. Would stay again and recommend to friends and family.”

• The rooms were nice & spacious & price was right.
• The desk clerk was rude and I made a complaint.

“Hotel was nice. I love kids & have grandchildren but at no time could we enjoy the spa or pool. The desk clerk was rude upon arrival as I do not use credit cards, this was booked with a check/credit visa and she spoke to me as though I was beneath her in front of other people in the lobby that they did not accept my card however she had no choice, I will not stay there again.”

• Nice, clean rooms, quiet and comfortable.
• The lady at the front desk was a little "snippy" at first, but forced herself to improve as we went on.

• We were very happy with the room; it was newly remodeled and very clean!
• It wasn't close enough to the beach for us.

“We are very picky about cleanliness and we were very happy with the newly remodeled and clean room. The morning breakfasts were very good and saved us a little money since we didn't have to buy breakfast.”

• Nothing - it was great.

• Clean, comfortable if characterless room.
• The free cocktail hour was worth the price (i.e., nothing).

“Nice enough, but far too expensive for what you get. No kitchen facilities are a big drawback. The room was clean and comfortable, but so are the rooms at Comfort Inn at less than half the price typically.”

• The lobby was cool and the bar, very nice.
• Nothing, I liked everything about this hotel.

“Easy to find, easy to park, a bar, nice lobby, excellent suites and a pool that is peaceful. Right off the 101 freeway, yet no noise. Loved it. Worth the extra money spent.”

• Hotel was clean and relaxing and the breakfast was great.
• That there not closer to the beach, but easy access from highway.

• The rooms are updated and nice. Close to outlet shopping.
• Staff is could have been friendlier.

• Attractively decorated rooms, suites, buffet breakfast.
• Couldn't get a later checkout to accommodate kids naps.

“Really liked the rooms and amenities - nicer than expected! Very kid friendly with a kiddies pool, more room with the suites, cribs in room as requested, restaurants and shopping nearby, and not far to several beaches. Met several other families there. Only negative was one stressed front-desk person. Great value for the money.”

• I liked the breakfast buffet, the living room and separate bedroom and the interior of the rooms.
• The hotel did not have an elevator & it was next to the highway which was a little noisy.

“We really enjoyed our stay the hotel was very clean and the staff was very helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the social hour in the evening. We also used the gym and the pool.”
