Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[7] • Location:[8]

  • Clean.
  • Lights needed replacement.

“It was fairly cute compared to other 1 star hotels. No pool, but it they really kept the place clean. It was peaceful; no kids running around and people were friendly.”

Cleanliness:[2] • Staff:[7] • Location:[6]

  • It was close to the highway.
  • It was very smelly.

“The hotel room smelled like motor oil. The vanity light at the sink burnt out. The drain for the sink was clogged.”

Cleanliness:[6] • Staff:[3] • Location:[5]

  • Spacious.
  • Bathroom felt unclean. TV remote was broken.

“Bathroom window was not lockable. Unsafe due to ground floor location. Did not feel that bathroom was clean. I would not stay there again.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[6] • Location:[9]

  • Close to major access roads, nicely lighted, very clean.
  • Very small parking spaces, cramped parking.

“Right off of the 101 and 1 highways, very clean, well lit and was very, very quiet for a weekend.”

Cleanliness:[3] • Staff:[4] • Location:[5]

  • The only thing I liked was that this hotel was close to the freeway and convenient to get to and from.
  • It is an older hotel in need of updating. Our room had a bad smell and needed a thorough cleaning.

“Rooms are in need of updating. Don't expect a clean fresh smell when you walk into the rooms. They are very old and in need a thorough cleaning. The continental breakfast is very minimal with packaged pastries, coffee, and juice. However, the hotel is conveniently located next to highway 101.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[4] • Location:[8]

  • Location of it in regards to the college and shopping.
  • No pool, no continental breakfast, no hot tea bags in room only coffee.

“It was ok for a one night stay. Very little in the way of vending machines. There were no tea bags so if your not a coffee drinker your out of luck. I thought there was a continental breakfast but there was nothing served and that may have been a error on my part.”

Cleanliness:[6] • Staff:[1] • Location:[8]

  • Location.
  • No closet. Had to hang closes in bathroom.

“Not even good for a 1 star. I would not recommend it at any price. Patio furniture in the bathroom. Poor lighting in bathroom. You had to hang your clothes below the towel rack in the bathroom and long garments folded up.”

Cleanliness:[1] • Staff:[2] • Location:[5]

  • Easy access to hwy 101.
  • Bedspread dirty, bathtub grout cracked, moldy not vacuumed.

“Would not stay at this property again due to lack of cleanliness.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[7] • Location:[7]

  • Good value for the dollar.
  • It took staff 10 minutes to answer the late night check in phone.

“This was a decent deal.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[4] • Location:[7]

  • The location was within walking distance of downtown sol.
  • Far too expensive for this class of accommodation.

“This iconology is well-kept and comfortable. The hotel is located conveniently near downtown sol. Access to and from el Camino real (highway 101) is excellent in the southbound direction and very good in the northbound direction. Wireless internet access is not available in the rooms.”

Cleanliness:[1] • Staff:[1] • Location:[4]

  • We did not stay at this hotel as the room we requested was non-smoking and they only had smoking left when we arrived!
  • Not at all helpful honoring our reservation! We told them children were severe asthmatics & would never use a smoking room.

“This hotel was disgustingly. Smelly both with severe smoke smell and skunk smells (which they probably couldn't help the skunks). Manager was not at all helpful with any of our concerns. Said a non-smoking room was available for a substantial increase in fee - otherwise they were booked. This felt extremely dishonest! Wound up leaving this motel and looking for another hotel room because of their inability to accommodate our needs for a non-smoking room. Econo lodge also said they would still charge us even though we chose not to stay due to their not accommodating our needs. We have traveled the world & have not ever been met with this dishonest/disinterested service provider! Got another room across the street from this hotel. It was the Ramada on olive sty. They were very accommodating and helpful for our extremely short stay.”

“Should have spent $20 more for a far better place than this converted motel 6.”

  • The comfort and beauty of the room!
  • I can not think of anything I did not like.

“This room, at a very reasonable price, surpassed our expectations. The bed was so comfortable, the bathroom had amenities such as shampoo and a shower with a strong flow, the decor and wall art was lovely, and there was even a refrigerator and microwave! Also, the staff was very friendly. We'll be back!”

Cleanliness:[5] • Staff:[2] • Location:[6]

  • Close proximity to freeway.
  • A bit runs down.

“If you want easy freeway access, this is the motel for you. Despite its proximity to the freeway, it was very quiet in the room. The rooms were clean and had a microwave and mini fridge which was quite nice for a one star motel. Very convenient for those visiting cal poly.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[3] • Location:[8]

  • Convenient location.

“Hotel personnel not very professional. Had to run back and forth three times to exchange electronic room key - door lock was mal-function - had to change room. Shower mechanism in one of the room was broken - could not take shower. Would not stay there again.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[5] • Location:[8]

  • The room was clean and well maintained. Not fancy, but nice for an economy motel.
  • Couldn't park very close to the room.

“It is a good quality for the price. Clean and comfortable rooms but not fancy, although they did have ferriages and microwaves in the rooms. The bed was very comfy.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[7] • Location:[10]

  • Close access to freeway and food/ city.
  • Not too much parking.

“At the hotel, I was given preferential treatment by the staff as I called ahead and requested a late check-in. I was given a downstairs unit at my request and the first and most accessible room off the parking entrance. I like the fact that the check out time was 11:00 am giving the traveler more time to get organized in the morning. Food restaurants were less than a block away and I was able to get a glass of wine close by which after a long drive was needed and appreciated.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[5] • Location:[7]

  • Good housekeeping.
  • Phones did not work in room.

“It was a neat, clean, family friendly motel. Convenient freeway access, the phones in the room did not allow outgoing calls, however, and we were forced to make calls from the lobby. Beds were fairly comfortable and it was convenient to have a little refrigerator and microwave in the room as well. Even though the freeway is very close to the motel, we had no problem sleeping as it was a fairly quiet place.”

Cleanliness:[6] • Staff:[8] • Location:[10]

  • It was close to my destination.
  • The rate of $144.00 per night was "robbery" due to its age and need of repairs.

“It was conveniently located off the freeway but at the rate of $144 per night for a double queen bed it was extremely expensive! The room needed many repairs to the flooring in the bathroom and venting as well as the air conditioning unit. The bathtub did not hold water so my children had to take showers (not good if you have little ones). The breakfast consisted of small Danishes individually wrapped from Costco and coffee or juice. A more reasonable rate would have $60 - $ 80 per night. We would not stay at this site again.”
