• Great location off the freeway, very clean, great view.
• Size of the bathroom/shower.

• It was nice.
• It is older, so you can here the water running from the other room beside you and on the upper floor.

• I loved the location the room was nice with an ocean view great boardwalk freeway close.
• Room had a horrible smell of vomit by the TV cabinet and drawers.

“I loved the hotel gorgeous grounds great location warm pool very romantic. If not for the vomit smell in the room it would have been perfect and well worth the money.”

• Staff was kind.
• The price was not worth the room and services.

“The hotel is old and needs to be remodeled. There is no A/C, the small swimming pool and spa had dirty water. The restaurant slow and dirty; I had to eat with the wonderful view of the sea. And some rotten lemons and trash in a big pot of flowers right in front of my table, what a waste! The room was clean but needed some repairs too. This hotel could be nice if more clean and with some repairs but even so, it would be still way over priced compared with the new hotel's prices next door.”

• That it was by the bluff of the ocean, had a hot Jacuzzi!
• To get down to the actual beach was a little trek past 2 other resorts and down 95 stairs.

“For being right on the bluff of the ocean, the price was great, and the rooms were really nice, and beds comfortable, it is in a good location for going to Hearst Castle or surrounding beaches, or little towns.”
