• Could have been cleaner.

“Recommended for travelers on the Highway 50 corridor. Easy on and off the freeway, with lots of restaurants and stores nearby.”

• The bed was comfortable. The room was attractive.
• There was someone else's hair on the shower wall.

“The hotel was sort of seedy in the halls, but the rooms appeared to be very clean and attractive. However, there were hairs in the shower. Because of that, I won't stay there again.”

• The rooms were not sound proof at all - they neglected to bring us towels for the pool several times.

• Easily accessible from highway. Good continental breakfast, pool, exercises room.
• There is nothing I did not like.

“There aren't very many hotels in this area but for the money it is an attractive well kept hotel. I will stay there every time I go to Placerville, a.”

• Lots of bath towels.
• No elevator, .had to cart luggage up the stairs.

• The rooms were fresh and very clean. we had a non-smoking room.
• The cont. breakfast was a little weak and seating at the pool was bolted down. You couldn't move the chairs

“For Placerville this hotel was OK...there isn't much new in the town the hotel was clean and neat and the grounds were as sharp looking as one could expect.”

• Getting out of there and not ever returning.
• Charged a different rate than quoted. The employees were less than friendly.

“I had made a reservation in June of 2005 for October of 2005 and had a confirmation for a certain rate. Upon checkout, they charged me a different rate. I did not get the rooms I requested, and the hotel made me feel as though I was less than a first class citizen. Even at a level above the manager of the hotel, I was not given any satisfaction in being charged the rate I was quoted. The rooms we had were less than clean (hair all over the shower and floors) and you could hear the people in the room above us walking around all night long--it sounded like they were going to come through the floor. If you plan to eat at the continental breakfast, I suggest getting there early cause it's in the lobby of the hotel and there is barely any room to move around. I would suggest the Apple Inn up the road about 5 miles.”

• Nothing special.
• The desk clerk who checked us said basically nothing to us during the whole check in process.

“The hotel was okay, clean. The clerk who checked us in basically didn't say a word to use while checking us in. He really gave the impression he was doing us a favor by checking us in. I wouldn't hurry back for another stay.”
