• Nothing.
• Way too expensive. Not attractive at all.

• The view was not great.

“Room was clean and well-maintained. Cost was reasonable. The key card had to be reset every day cause it kept becoming de-magnetized.”

• Close to the beach.
• How inconvenient it was to get to our room having small children.

“The parking area is very small and hard to maneuver. I was given a room up stairs and down a narrow hall which was inconvenient with 4 small children. I don't believe I will stay at this hotel again.”

• The room and lobby were very clean,staff was friendly and helpful.
• The parking was tight (I had a van).

“Overall it was a very good place to stay. The beds need to be upgraded mine was very uncomfortable. The room was next to a busy street with a lot of noise. Every time someone used the restroom or showered it was very loud in my room.”

• Hotel was close to shopping and dining.
• Very small parking lot if you have a large vehicle.

“Accommodations were to be as expected for this rate of hotel. Front desk receptionist was very friendly. The room was clean. The decor was nice in our room. Front desk had only one lower level room and gave it to my parents.”

• No maid service!

“There was no housekeeping service-no towels, no garbage collection, no new soap and shampoo the second day, no clean linen. Awful.”

• On the main strip of Morro Bay.

“I do not recommend this place and feel that there are other quality establishments in the Morro Bay area. Its simply not worth it to stay here - even if the stay is cheap. You'll be treated like a 2nd class citizen by the hotel manager if you request for anything. The only positive is that its within walking distance to a local diner called the Hungry Fisherman and its quite tasty.”

• The front desk manager was very friendly.
• The free internet had no reception.

“The hotel is only good for a pit stop on your road trip. Would not recommend for more than one night. I got better internet reception from the Days Inn across the street. The rooms were clean but very low quality and showing age. The front desk manager was very friendly.”

• Not bad for one star, just a place to sleep. Bed was clean.
• Carpet was worn and a bit dirty.

• I liked there was a vacancy. Then it ended.
• I was very disappointed in the whole enterprise.

“It's late at night and we are looking through a travel/coupon guide and decide the price was right at the economy lodge in morrow bay. And bonus -- there is a continental breakfast. We book our room and when we think we're done, the clerk disappears into his space in the back and returns with a Tupperware container that's at least 15 years old. The lid is stained and will never be like-new again. He opens the lid revealing four muffins obviously home-made - right out of a box of instant mix! He says to us, command-like, word for word, "take a muffin and eat it in the morning" with a slight accent. My friend and I about wet ourselves holding in the laughter long enough to say no, thank you, and exit out of the office. So that was our continental breakfast offering. Further, the toilet in our room didn't flush, and then overflowed. Not once, but three times. He was so rude and seemed so put out to have to come allele the way over to our room and service the Lou. This hotelier! Then, my friend calls economy lodge main office and complains to someone making minimum wage to be a good listener. This good listener offered my friend and me another stay at this place. Wow. We declined, of course.”

• Location for us was perfect. Hotel was clean which is what we look for most in a hotel.
• One shower towel smelled like smoke.

“I would stay at this hotel again because of the location. It is in walking distance to everything in town and the freeway on/off ramps is close by. The rooms and the area around the hotel are clean.”
