“The first night we stayed there, Red Lion cancelled association due to lack of sufficient quality metrics and it became an Executive Grande. Apparently, Red Lion had put them on notice but they failed to come up to the quality standards required. I would not stay there again.”

“This hotel was on my way to Yosemite Park. The front desk staff was pleasant and chatty. A staff member asked me if I needed help finding my room. The room was quiet and comfortable. The pool atrium is pleasant on the way in.”

“Check in was flawed. My name did not come up in the Red Lion database at check in. Ultimately, I believe my card was not charged twice, but the check-in was about a twenty minute ordeal. of course, the clerk at the Red Lion was somewhat confused and not the sharpest tool in the shed. Also, the facility was run down, sink was loose, patches in the wallpaper, broken tiles, etc. Not in very good repair. It was surprising for a Red Lion property.”

“We had a very nice stay. The accommodations were exactly what we asked for, the beds were comfortable and everything in the room worked properly. The hotel layout was interesting. We had a room away from the courtyard/pool which was quiet. Rooms around the pool may be noisier. Overall, very nice.”

“Because the air conditioner was old/noisy, I did not sleep a wink. The pillows and mattresses need replaced as they were both uncomfortable. I ended up sleeping on the sofa bed and tossed and turned all night. However, the room was very clean and stocked well. The bedding was almost luxurious with the exception of holes in the blankets. The comforter was new. We felt secure in the layout of the room, with a locking door to the outside parking and to the inside hallway. The parking spaces are numbered, and we were able to park in front of our room. We would not stay here again because of the uncomfortable beds and pillows and noisy air conditioner.”

“I booked this room for my wife and her mother on short notice. Due to the name recognition of a "Red Lion", I thought that I was doing the right thing. My wife and mother in law did not feel safe, felt as if at any moment roaches were going to crawl over them, while sleeping and was told upon check in that they would have to park at the back of the hotel and due to safety, the back door entrance was locked that they would have to walk to the front of the hotel by themselves, this was at midnight! Needless to say, this was a hotel that couldn't even compete with a Motel 6.”
