• Very convenient, room was easy to access from parking. Plenty of parking and spacious rooms!
• Refrigerators and Micros should be included in all rooms, they weren't.

“Our stay was enjoyable and pleasant. It could have been more romantic with a dinner and maybe a swim in the pool in the evening, we should try that next time were in Modesto! There was little no outside noise and felt at ease and comfortable in my stay! Easy access to parking and facilities made it pleasant as well. We will definitely stay again and recommend our friends stay there as well!”

• The room did not have a refrigerator which would have been really convenient for cold drinks.

• The breakfast staff.

“Located just north of central Modesto was close enough to commute to meetings in 5-8 minutes. Usually, Courtyards have a complimentary breakfast. Not so here but good value for full breakfast offered.”

• The beds were very comfortable and plenty of dinning and stores to shop close easy on off freeway.
• The side walk had leaves and some type of pod, due to this I fell asked that it be swept up and was not I was fearful some one else may fall as well.

“The hotel was nice, beds comfortable, staff was not concerned when I had told them I had slipped and fell, on the side walk due to debris caused by trees. They didn't ask how I was or follow up although I am okay it would have impressed me if they would of asked the next day how I was at check out.”

• The staff.

“There was no phone service in my room. The first day I was there I inquired about it and the front desk staff told me they were being serviced. I had no idea that my entire three nights I would not have phone service. My husband tried to reach me. (We live in Japan and have a time difference from California. Also, I could not find a pay phone anywhere around Modesto. I guess with the use of cell phones pay phones are obsolete?) Finally, after two nights of staying there without phone service, I had a letter from management put in my room saying the front desk staff would assist me with calling home; also there was a hand written note telling me to please phone my husband. When I went to the front desk, the authority at the front desk, said there were no outgoing phone lines.”

• Location was close off the freeway.
• Overall cleanliness and attractiveness was poor.

“I expected more from a Marriott hotel if I will be honest that is one of the major disappointment. The hotel did not provide much in terms of luxury and the areas were cluttered. The phones also broke on the Friday night of our stay and were not back up by time we left.”

“This is a Courtyard Marriott. It lives up to the reputation and expectations one has for this chain of hotels. Clean and comfortable with good service, but not luxurious. A very strong value for the budget - minded traveler.”

• Appreciated it's nice decor and cleanliness.
• Would have liked having breakfast included.

“Overall, the experience was quite nice, although having the hotel front desk clerk hit on me was a bit uncomfortable and I thought unprofessional, especially since I am a married woman.”

• The room was well decorated. Bed was very comfortable.
• The occupants of the room next to us were quite noisy.

“This hotel is located right off the 99 freeway. It shares a parking lot with Black Angus to one side and Olive Garden on the other side. Upon arrival into the lobby, I was quickly greeted and checked into the room. The room exceeded my expectations offering very comfortable beds and bedding. The free amenities that I used was the in room coffee maker, blow-dryer, and wireless internet. I would definitely stay here again!”

• Clean! Centrally located to Winco/Wal*Mart & copy centers.
• Needed more pool towels available.

“We had a very pleasant stay here. It was well located. Gated/keyed buildings. Air unit worked well. We were welcomed with a cool room upon entering--it was very refreshing. Would go back to again and recommend to others.”
