Lake Billy Chinook, one of Central Oregon's premiere vacation spots, is also a great place to take out the rod and reel and go fishing. The Metolius River is restricted to catch and release only for all species. Lake Simtustus: Angling for 8 to 11 inch rainbow trout is fair. Lake Billy Chinook- the Cove Palisades State Park is central Oregon's year-round recreational destination for the entire family.
