• Rooms overlooking the gardens where weddings are held, very nice to watch.

• Location is adjacent to excellent cycling and running trails along the American River.
• Rooms are dated, walls are thin.

“Location is wonderful along American River. So if you enjoy cycling or running, this is the place to be. However, rooms are dated and walls are thin. This is a moderate to economy level hotel.”

• Are room smelt horrible like wet dog!

“If you have pets it is the best place to go but if your allergic to pets its the worst!

• I liked Melissa the front desk person she was kind and attentive. Very friendly and helpful. A+.
• Entry into the hotel elevator, seemed cramped and unusual.

“The hotel was nice enough, room was comfortable. If you are headed here for the river view forget about it, you can't see anything. Other wise its nice enough but nothing to write home about.”

• I liked that the motel was a non smoking hotel.
• The smoking area was right out front in the entry. I had to walk through 20 smokers to leave.

“The hotel was very clean quiet and comfortable. It could have used some more sidewalks to make getting around a little easier. Otherwise a great stay.”

• Clean rooms.
• The front desk personnel could care less about their guests. They were a reflection of the management.

• Convenient to shopping and restaurants etc.
• Not freeway close.

“Hallways and carpets need attention, but the rooms are quiet and nice. Convenient to shops, restaurants and bike trail. Some of the hotel staff was a little stuffy.”

• One block from historic downtown Folsom and the American river.
• The room heating control was lacking.

“This hotel has a lot of close by amenities. Plenty of shops, restaurants and recreational activities. The staff was great, the hotel is nestled along the American river with plenty of bicycle and walking trails for the adventurer.”

• The pull out bed (from the couch) was hard as a rock. They forgot to leave clean towels one of the days. Parking lot over crowded.

“This is only a 3 star hotel. We expected a nicer room and asked for 2 double beds for the 1 of the 2 rooms we needed. They were unable to accommodate. We were there for 4 days for a funeral and needed to share one of the rooms in order to be able to afford the airfare and hotel.”

  good front desk.
• Poor shower head and
  maids mistakenly kept knocking.

“Classy place for not too expensive. Upgraded for free to suite because I called and asked for a microwave and fridge. Nice.”

• They were friendly and the hotel was a buzz with activity, yet I didn't hear them when I was in my room.
• The walk to the room was pretty far away from where I parked.

“I went there for a weekend with the girls. We were able to park our cars and walk everywhere safely. We walked to antique shops, candy stores, coffee houses, restaurants and the lake. It was wonderful.”

• Quiet as it is located away from a major road.
• Old with very little charm.

“The event center looked very well suited for major events but my room was on the parking lot side. No view of the lake. Room was 99 degrees when I walked in. Desk was a rickety old thing. Room was narrow and felt small. Bed however was very comfy and was the only reason I stayed the three days. No breakfast was served which I found very strange in this day and age.”
