• The hotel was clean and quiet.
• The spa was not working at the time.

“Overall, we had a great experience at this hotel. The room and facilities were very clean. The hotel staff was nice and friendly. We would definitely stay there again.”

• Quiet inner courtyard; could not tell we were 1 block from freeway.
• Monday morning breakfast was apparently "sparse" post weekend; we ate okay.

“Cozy, pleasant, and welcoming, we'll stay at this hotel again happily. Easy accessibility even with construction a block away; a happily quiet night. Nice to have an elevator to the upper floor where we were. Good looking pool/Jacuzzi area; I always forget my suit!”

• Free wireless, free breakfast.
• Constant noise of drug dealers transacting outside.

“La Quinta is normally my favorite chain for budget accommodations. After all, they have free wireless internet in the rooms, free breakfast each morning, they're pet friendly. It's the perfect choice when you need something cheap. This location, however, leaves a lot to be desired. Management doesn't run a tight ship here, as evidenced by last night's shenanigans. We were on the back side of the hotel. Until 3:30 a.m., people were coming and going, blaring ghetto rap, peeling out tires, and being general nuisances. Now, this could have been a one-off situation, but I'm not taking my chances! Won't be returning here.”

“Someone tried to break into our hotel room while we were out. There was broken glass in front of our room, and the door had almost been forced open. Not safe at all.”

• Clean Room.
• Some traffic noise from freeway.

“The maids did a fine job of keeping the room clean. It always smelled good. They did miss a little spot in-between the nightstand and bed - to be expected with the amount of rooms to clean in one day. Little traffic noise but very easy to get to even with construction going on in front of the hotel.”

• Easy access from freeway, breakfast provided and good sized room.
• Construction next to hotel (unsightly), breakfast area was cramped.

“La Quinta seems to have a good standard accommodation for business or leisure travelers. The breakfast included is always a plus when traveling with kids. The rooms were clean and reasonably good condition. The rooms were quiet. The spa was not working and the pool could have used a good cleaning.”

• It was very close to the places I wanted to visit.
• The room was very small and the section of town was very rough. Scary at night, esp. "wrong side of the tracks".

“I would only recommend this for a very short visit and if it was located very close to your destination. Not for families. Be careful! The immediate area is rough. But it is located close to nicer areas. The motel was inexpensive and okay. The room was very small and the hotel is very old. The staff was nice.”

• The AM staff was particularly friendly.
• The carpet had not been vacuumed in my room.

“This hotel gives complimentary continental breakfast. The pool area was clean and nice. The staff was efficient and friendly aside from the un-vacuumed room.”

• It was clean, serves was great, and everyone was very helpful.
• A little hard to find the front.

“Everyone was very helpful and anything we needed they took care of right away. I was really surprised that they were so helpful, much better than any other hotel. The only thing was I had a free night stay coupon and found out after we were there we couldn't use it because of making reservations through you. I would like to have that honored since I didn't know I couldn't use it at that time.”

• The night manager - tried to be helpful.
• Staff was rude, unprofessional, lied about accommodations.

“After 3 separate stays, I will never stay here again. On each occasion, I had been promised accommodation requested (needed handicapped access, no stairs, 2 beds, etc.) only to arrive and be told they had no such room for me. On the last and the final trip, I was told I could "use our computer and find another hotel" after I told them I needed an accessible room for my handicapped sister, they finally put us in a crummy small room with absolutely no privacy. My sister was forced to use her walker (post-operative) and walk in her nightgown in immediate driveway areas. As a result, she was unable to use her walker per doctors instructions, and her recovery was set back. Additionally, on the 3rd day a total stranger used a key to come into the room when my sister was there alone. When I returned to the room, I was locked out, went to the desk to find out why, and learned of the incident. When I was finally able to get in the room, my sister was in hysterics. We called the manager who basically told us mistakes happen, too bad, get over it. I'll never get over this. A total stranger was given access by the staff, and scared my sister to near death. ”

• Nice pool. Nice staff.
• Bathroom too cramped. Wife weak.

“Overall, it's a nice hotel for the price. The pool area is very nice. It's convenient to get around the place. The bathroom in our room was extremely small and cramped, but the room was very clean. Staff were all friendly. Oddly, we asked for towels and were told they had run out due to people using them at the pool. We were able to get towels the next day. The wireless Internet service was weak and spotty.”

“This hotel looked freshly remodeled and immaculately clean. Central air was quiet with an in room wall thermostat. The hotel was easy to find by a major freeway and cross street. Staff was very helpful.”

• La Quinta in general has better properties but this one suited us just fine. I have no complaints for what we paid.
• There wasn't anything we could berate. They had everything we wanted.

“We wanted a location close to the area we wanted to visit. This property was right where we wanted it and we would return at a later date.”

• The staff checked to see if everything was satisfactory
• rooms very small, needs to be updated

“The hotel was clean, but it is old and need updating, the areas around the hotel need to be taken care of, such as pot holes in the roads the second story walkways felt shaky not secure as well as the bathtub in the room, while clean I would say this hotel qualifies as a 1 not a 2 star quality.”
