• Comfortable and
  good location.
• No free wireless internet in room.

“Clean and comfortable. No microwave, fridge, or free wireless internet in room. This was inconvenient. The fee for internet was $10 per day. This really seemed ridiculous in this day and age.”

• The front desk staff and bellhops were extremely helpful and friendly.
• The cleaning staff did not clean the room and were not planning to. Had to point it out to them.

“The cleaning staff missed my room. When I pointed it out to them, they said that they had already cleaned the room. She came back with excuses on why the room was not cleaned but cleaned it. At check out the front desk was extremely apologetic and comped me a movie for the situation.”

• Ordered breakfast in my room - it was delicious.

“The bed was very comfortable and the room clean and well decorated. Ordered breakfast in bed which was wonderful. Enjoyed my stay at this hotel.”

• No shower cap; previous guest leave her nightgown in the bathroom; lack of attention to detail.

“For one night the hotel was fine; we stay in Arden Way about once a month to visit my mother who is in a nursing home. The Doubletree is the best out of the ones - Radisson, Red Lion ,etc. So we're always happy to be at the Doubletree.”

• Comfortable beds, Clean and Quiet.
• TV is old. Long uneven drive through parking lot to the back.

“Overall nice hotel. Huge property. Long uneven drive through parking lot to the back. Caught a AC/DC tribute act here, band name Riff Raff. They were awesome. The price was right. If prices were higher in Sacramento, I would cancel business up there. Golf, restaurants etc. would lose business.”

• They served warm cookies.
• It's obvious the hotel is old and needed updating 10 years ago.

“When I walked in the room, I was very disappointed. The carpet was worn, the chair and ottoman didn't match (and it is not the intended design). I called the front desk to ask for a room with one bed (I was not provided.) I was quickly and not very politely told there were none available. Strange, there was no way she could have checked. The linens were nice though. Too bad the divot in the center of our bed was deep enough to fall into.”

• The professionalism of the staff, the conditions of the room.
• That I only had to stay for one night.

“The check-in staff, was very professional, quick, and friendly. The ease of getting to the room was excellent with more than one entrance. The room was perfect size, finely-appointed, and quiet. Everything in great working order, next time I will be in the pool. The room service was early and very polite.”

• It was clean, attractive in curb appeal, spacious room, and modern. It's pool setting also appeared inviting.

“It is modern, well-maintained, with large rooms and many to choose from over a large spread of wings on large grounds. You're greeted w/the nice touch of 2 packaged, hot cookies upon check-in by attentive desk help.”
