• Front lobby and lounge were very clean and attractive.
• Noise insulation was very poor. Heard lots of hall activity.

“My husband and I had a very good time at the hotel. The hallways between the rooms were not well tended and the housekeeping staff hadn't stocked our room prior to our visit. Also, no fans in the bathroom, which fogged the entire room! But, the room itself was comfortable, despite the hallway noises and stocking deficiencies.”

“This hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Old Town Sacramento and the state Capitol. The staff is courteous and competent. Public spaces are adequate. The only drawback is the lack of parking.”

• This was a very attractive hotel.
• The only thing I could say is the front desk could have been friendlier and more helpful.

“The hotel was very well maintained and the majority of the staff was very efficient. The only thing that could have been better was a more speedy and knowledgeable front desk staff.”

• Quiet, peaceful, conveniently located, staff was prompt, friendly and helpful.
• Baseboards and floors were dirty, there was hair on the floor, and the shower was dirty.

“Everything was great, what one would expect from a hotel. The only problem I had was with the condition of the room upon arrival. The entry way was not clean (there was hair on the floor) and the shower was dingy. Made me wonder about the way the rest of the room was cleaned. We are especially concerned with cleanliness because we were traveling with our young children ages 3 and 9 months.”

“I would recommend this hotel (and I already have) to anybody staying in the Sacramento area. It is very clean, the food is good and dining staff is very friendly and courteous. The people who check you in/out are very nice and helpful.”

• The close proximity to surrounding activities and features.
• The food in the hotel restaurant was not pleasing.

“The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The surrounding area was perfect for foot travel, shopping and exploration.”

• The Holiday Inn was an ideal spot for Downtown sightseeing.
• Queen size bed.

• The room was attractive and clean and the bed was comfortable. It has a very convenient location.
• The sounds from the hallway and other rooms were pretty audible.

“We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is attractive, clean and we found the service to be very helpful. On arrival, they indicated our room had 2 double beds. We preferred a king and requested a change. Even though there were several conventions occurring in the hotel, we were quickly accommodated into a room with a king size bed. The food was good at the restaurant and pretty reasonably priced. We had both dinner and breakfast meals. The staff was friendly and helpful.”

“This hotel is an older Holiday Inn but it is beautiful inside. It is right Downtown, and steps away from the Westfield Mall (Macy's, Restaurants, etc) Also, a few blocks from Old Town Sacramento - I loved it and was pleasantly surprised - Had room service for dinner and my meal was above par.”

• It was Downtown with a mall, movie theater and old Sacramento within walking distance.
• It is too close to a major highway and we could hear the traffic.

“Other than the traffic noise this was a great place to stay. We booked a king bed and when we found out we were going to have two grand kids stay with us; they moved us to a two double bed room the next morning. Kids eat free! Always a plus. Please be aware that there is no parking.”
