• Room setup was nice with good appliances.
• Only 2 sets of dishes and flatware. Only 1 frying pan and nothing else to cook with.

“It is a good hotel if you do not plan to cook there. The swimming pool is for small children. There is NO hot tub. This is a good hotel for business travelers who do not want to spend time in the hotel except to sleep and shower.”

• It was comfortable and mostly clean.
• The AC blew hot air. I had to disconnect the thermostat because there was no maintenance crew on the weekend.

• Large room.
• Double bed too small and hard, TV too small, large crack in bathroom floor.

“Pillows were terrible (and yes that is important for good sleep). The lone bed in the room should have been a queen or king, not the double that was there. Bed was also too hard.”

“A great location for any traveler to San Jose, Ca. area. Just off freeway and yet has a scheduled feel. Grocery store within walking distance.”

• Location and staff.
• The hall smelled due to dogs staying in all of the rooms next to us.

“The staff was great! But they put us in a room next to long-term residents that had barking dogs and the hall smelled! We didn't have dogs! So this was a bit disturbing. The carpet in the room was very dirty as well as the couch. I have had better experiences at Extended stays elsewhere. It was pretty disgusting!”

• It was fairly close to freeway.
• Air conditioner did not work/no toilet paper.

“We were unable to sleep well because it was very stuffy in there, in the morning we discovered there was no toilet paper and still unable to operate the air, we did let them know, very clean.”

• Perhaps the carpeting in the public areas could be replaced.

“For a multiple day stay, the hotel was well located, easy to find and had provided a good base to come back to each day. The studio apartment design was very comfortable.”

• Heater fan always on cause draft and noise, sore throat.

• It looks clean.
• The room smells like urine esp. Bathrooms!

“The rooms seemed presentable but couldn't help smelling the bad odor of mustiness and urine when I came inside, as if the bathroom was cleaned with dirty smelly mop! Hopefully, the management will notice the bad odor or smell in the room! I had to spray my own perfume in order to fall as lee.”

“The room was not ready when I checked in, the table and chairs were turned upside down. The vacuum was left in the room unattended. No tooth brushes as advertised. Very cold pool.”

• Spacious "living room" area and kitchen with basic utensils.
• No complementary coffee in room or in common area on weekends! Is provided here during week.

“A clean spacious if somewhat utilitarian room. A little hard to find unless you are a business traveler working in the local industrial center. Fortunately, within walking distance of a star bucks and a lucky's market to stock up the kitchen provided. Great for passing through. Not a lot to see in the area.”

• I liked that the room had a full kitchen so I could eat in.
• I didnt like that there was a lot of ambient noises.

“Overall the hotel was a nice choice for my, except the fact that my room was right by the elevator. At first I thought it was a vent that kept coming on, maybe from the ac. Then I realized that it was the elevator making noise every time somebody used it.”

• Spacious room.
• Wi-Fi fee. Pillows wrapped in bed spread.

“Extended stay deluxe is usually my favorite hotel especially at those locations werving breakfast, e.g., north San Jose. Esd generally have more specious room than extended stay America. The kitchen table also serves as the work desk, with a good view of TV. Since there is no daily house keeping, I did not have to have do the housekeeping before the house keeping. It save me about 20 minutes each day. I wish all extended stay hotels stop charging that $5 Wi-Fi fee, it just for those people who do not have a friend to share the code.”
