• It in a god location for public transportation.
• They didn't have drinking cups, no clock ,and a smelly room.

“The staff was nice and honest I forgot my credit card on the check in counter and they came to the room and returned it to me. The room smell cigarette smoke bad. Overall it's good for the price.”

• Convenience and price.
• The beds are extremely hard. I have a very difficult time sleeping on such a hard mattress.

• The layout of the room met my needs.
• Shampoo and shower gel not located in room, but in lobby.

“No frills suites, although pretty comfortable and spacious. There were no shampoos and conditioners in the bathrooms, although there were some at the reception desk. Plenty of dish-ware for your use, but without any dish soap or sponges to clean them. Also, it was disappointing that housekeeping did not wait very long for a response before barging in at 8 am. Although they only did this once during a 5 night stay, they only came once during said stay on the morning after the first night, which seems a bit pointless and silly.”

• Good dollar value with kitchen area included (fridge/micro/stove/sink).
• Mattress was uncomfortable (too hard); they need to replace with pillow top.

“This is not a bad hotel to stay at. The biggest downfall is that the mattress is just to hard. They should replace their mattresses. Soap is provided but no hair shampoo. The room was nice, but not fantastic. Cannot recommend this hotel solely because of the uncomfortable mattress.”

• This hotel was very family friendly & beautiful.
• Nothing bad to say.

“This hotel is very clean and staff friendly, the beds were outstanding clean as well as the room. The kitchen was perfect for my children we just loved it and would stay again.”

• The kitchenette is great, if you're staying for more than a couple of days.
• The location is poor for most of San Jose, laundry is outdated.

“The hotel was nice, if you need the kitchenette, so it is worth the price for that. It is not romantic, but it is good for business people staying more than a few days. The laundry needs to be updated to take credit cards, etc, rather than only quarters. There is no change machine on the facility. The laundry should be open 24 hours, rather than close at 11 p.m. Nice place, good staff, quiet.”

“When I check-in during the night, I had to wait for the night staff to come let me in. Call their corporate number to get a night person to let me in. Then waited until almost 6:00 a.m. before I can get into the room. Worst experience ever! Even the night manager made me even feel worse. Do not want to stay at this place again!”

“This hotel is set up for longer stays (leisure), the first room I was put into had a non-working television, and a window would not fully shut (safety concern). No breakfast is a negative for business travelers.”

“All-in-all, I'm satisfied with my stay at this hotel. An attractive hotel in South San Jose conveniently located near technology park with groceries, dining, fuel, and freeway access close by.”

• Nothing.
• Dirty and smelled and wet carpet.

“The carpet was wet an the room smelled as if it had been sprayed with some chemical. I couldn't stand the smell and had to open all the windows and turn on the A/C. There was lots of garbage under the beds and the comforter was dirty.”

• The staff was very helpful and accommodating.
• Both this time and the last, we had to ask for an extra coffee cup. Also, the pots & pans were old and not in good condition.

• Not friendly, not knowledgeable.

“I had 2 bad experiences on my stay. first, I walked in at 2 pm to check in, and they didn't check me in saying that check in time is 3 pm and we don't have any clean room to give you yet. Come back in an hour. So I and my wife had to waste an hour in the area and come back at 3 pm.”

• It had a full size refrigerator and kitchen sink.
• Very uncomfortable bed, Office closed after 10pm. Pool was unheated.

“We booked a room for a two night stay while our home was being renovated. It turned out to be an Extended Stay Motel. There was one queen sized bed which was very uncomfortable. The office closed at 10pm. When we checked in, the clerk said that we were welcome to use the pool next door. However, when we showed up in our swim suits, we were told that it was outdoors and unheated. In April, it is too cold to use such a pool. The hotel has no cribs available, so it is not suitable for families with babies or small toddlers. The place was clean though, and there was a kitchenette with a full sized refrigerator, microwave, sink, cabinets, and two burner cook top. That was convenient. It is very basic lodging, not attractive at all.”

• One queen bed.

“The hotel was fine. The elevator floor looked like it had not been cleaned in weeks. We were not told that the room only came with one queen bed. We had to pay extra when we got there for two beds. Other than that our stay was great. Having a full kitchen is a plus!”

• The kitchen area and appliances big & small.
• Could not accommodate our room type in non-smoking room.

“I would suggest to them that if they try to air out the smoking floors as much as possible. Every once in a while a non-smoking guest will get stuck there and be miserable having to smell the smoke. At the very least they should place air purifiers or subtle air freshness.”
