• I liked that there was cooked to order breakfast, and a mini fridge. Also, there was a book in the hotel about restaurants and activities in the area.
• Someone or somehow the emergency alarm was pulled three times around 9:00 at night. On the 9th floor having to go down all those stairs, it wasn't fun.

“There wasn't anything in the hotel that was broken, and everything looked very nice. My only thing was the water at the hotel. The water tasted like there were major chemicals in it, kind of like spa water, when
I used it to wash my face and hands it dried them out terribly. Also, there was a water bottle in the room with a tag attached saying if you drank the water bottle there would be a four dollar charge,
I thought that was a little ridiculous considering how bad the other water was. The fire alarm went off three times, and we were on the 9th floor, so that wasn't fun. Also, the staff wasn't really informing people what was going on, there were too busy trying to figure out how the alarm went off. other than those few things everyone was friendly, I felt very safe, and it made our stay very enjoyable. also, bed was extremely comfortable.”

• Indoor pool, all rooms are suites so two rooms and two TVs, clean.
• The front desk called with a routine question and woke me at 6:56AM - not cool.

“This hotel is great overall. My kids and I both loved it - it is another consistently good experience at the Embassy Suites. The rooms are clean, the hotel feels safe, they have an indoor pool for comfortable swimming year round and the heated pool is very warm. All rooms are suites so if you have kids it is perfect they have two TVs so adults and kids won't argue over programming, they have a 24 hour cartoon channel and a refrigerator in the room. They offer free breakfast with real food (eggs, omlettes, hot foods, fruits, etc.) and also have a game room with two pool tables and a few arcade games. The waterfall area has Koi fish and turtles. The staff is very friendly.”

• The happy hour, the cook to order breakfast, the great location.

“It is located right at the edge of Monterey, away from the noise. It was just minutes away to the beautiful Coastal Line & Tranquil residential of Pacific Grove (Which was so lovely). The bar tender pour generously, if one ask for it.”

• I had booked the wrong date, and the staff helped me change it with no extra charge.
• Had to pay for internet.

“The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was nice with a decent view. Happy hour was pleasant, although some "low carb" choices in the snacks would be nice (i.e., cheese, meat).”

• Everything was easy to find in the hotel.
• It took a while to find a table to sit at morning breakfast.

“I would definitely stay here again. The breakfast had a good selection of food. The room was very roomy and well lay out. The staff was helpful and friendly. The only suggestion would be to have seating tables for 2 people as well as seating for up to 6 people.”

• It had a very nice design, convenient location, happy hour and free breakfast.
• Maybe more TV channels?

“I liked this hotel very much. The staff was very nice and helpful. It had a nice quiet atmosphere inside, and my mother and I felt very comfortable during our stay there. Daniel, the young man that assisted us during check-in at the front desk was very nice as well.”

• Awesome hotel room with plenty of space.
• When I booked this hotel I thought is was directly on Monterey Bay.

“I love Embassy Suites. With the cocktail hour, the large rooms and the complimentary breakfast you cannot go wrong. As I stated above, from the picture of the hotel it appears it's on the water but that is not the case. That was my only disappointment and was not really a big deal. I will continue to book Embassy Suites in my future travels. Thanks”

• Hotel has large rooms ("suites") and free breakfast and happy hour.
• Hotel and its lobby and pool are very family-friendly. If you're not here with your kids, you may feel left out. Not intimate.

“Hotel is popular with families, since suites can accommodate parents and children. Everything is of decent quality, but not luxurious. Location in Seaside is outside the best areas--Carmel, Monterey and Pacific Grove. ”

• Maids did not bring clean glasses--washed them in the room--question of sanitation

“Embassy Suites was more than I expected. It was one of the nicest hotels that I've stayed at in the Monterey area. I would recommend it highly. It was great for my children. They have an indoor heated pool and a hot-tub which helps keep the children occupied.”
