• There are plenty of other motels to stay in on the same street.
• Unfriendly staff.

“The mold in the bathroom was disgusting. I was afraid to take my shoes off anywhere.”

• It felt safe to stay there and to sleep comfortable.
• There is not a single thing I could think of to write bad about.

“It was a very comfortable stay including the breakfast. My family enjoyed that very much. Even my husband enjoyed that.”

• Started cleaning up room and stripping beds well prior to checkout--while we were still in it.

• The decor of room was modern.
• Could tell it was an old but spruced up to try and make it nice.

“The hotel we stayed at in Morgan Hill California far exceeds this little room little bed dirty surroundings and cold from lack of weather strip around door. Could hear traffic from cars and airplanes sounded like they were coming through the front door. The trash can hadn't been emptied in the two days we were there and then it appeared that some bottles were collected from it for recycling then trash was on the ground when we stepped out in the morning.”

• The breakfast.
• The staff, the room, the noise.

“I will not stay at this hotel again and I will not recommend anyone to this hotel. The staff was bad the hotel was under construction and it was very noise. Over all not a good experience at all.”

• The woman who served us at the continental breakfast was wonderful and friendly.
• The woman at the desk was not too friendly or welcoming.

“There was no refrigerator unit and lacked counter space. The room and bathroom were clean. Personnel wise, the woman at the front desk was not at all friendly or welcoming. Her attitude was business as usual. However, the woman that ran the continental breakfast room made the stay enjoyable. She was very friendly and wanted to make sure your breakfast was not only enjoyable but a treat.”

• 20 words are not enough. The hotel staff was very rude, the room was a mess and so on,

• I liked the price.
• The room smelled a little and the quality of the bed and furniture were very poor.

“The room had a slight odor and the quality of the bed and furniture were very poor. But I got used-to the odor quickly. And everything in the room worked correctly. Overall, I¿d say I got what I paid for.”

• In an unobtrusive way the room was well maintained throughout our stay.
• The spa area appeared to be undergoing maintenance and looked ok but, due to this, wasn't too inviting--possibly temporary.

“The motel was good for a reasonable price. Had I more time, I might have been able to find one with slightly better amenities at a comparable price, but that is only guesswork. There wasn't too much in the way of dining facilities or attractions immediately around it or the other motels, evidently comparable, in the area, but it was an easy drive to the area's main attractions. The best thing about the motel is that we felt we could take for granted that all the services that were provided would be there when we returned for the evening and in this respect the motel fully met expectations.”

• The location was great.
• The sound of the traffic was annoying and the rooms appeared but I did not get the feeling that it was.

• Friendly staff, clean, good complimentary breakfast.
• Noise from other guests above and to the side of me, bathroom fan did not work well.

“Good place for the value. Staff was friendly and helpful. Convenient location to area attractions. It's near the airport, I was awakened in the mornings as planes flying over, and noise from nearby rooms awakened me. I would stay again if the opportunity presents itself.”

• The blond staff person in the office appeared to care less if I was there or not, esp. at checkout.

“The closeness to Monterey; it was easy to navigate via Fremont St.; the value for the price paid for the room was outstanding considering the locale.”

• Good location, very close to surrounding attractions.
• The lady at the front desk during the day was always rude and short. The younger gal that works the evening shift is much more pleasant and courteous.

• Needs new towels and to be updated.

“It was a decent place for the rate that we got on a Sunday night. It is an older place, dated decor and not maintained to a high quality standard, but in Monterey for less than $100 a night, it was adequate. Relatively close to the wharf, a very short drive.”

• Exterior looked reasonably good.
• Small room, too much outside noise.

“The worst thing was the heater didn't work and I was told it could not be fixed in the night. The room was small and could not accommodate spare bed. it had only one. any outside noise, including the use of restrooms in adjacent room was very inconvenient.”

“The most snotty, irresponsible, lazy check in desk clerk I have ever talked to in my life. Really a disappointment. Would advise not staying here. Showers didn't drain, valves were switched, noisy, spa looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years, etc...”
