“Good: Big room, two beds, fridge, free internet. Bad: Few things were broken (balcony doors, screens, shower curtain). The halls were not maintained as there was empty cans and other trash on the floors in different areas.”

“This hotel was older on the outside but inside it was nicer than expected. The continental breakfast was really good and they quickly refilled anything that ran out. One caveat, there are airplanes that fly over that are very noisy, so bring your ear plugs.”

“Near the airport and two busy highways, this hotel is noisy and lacks sound insulation. The cigarette smoke from another room permeated our room, causing us to keep the sliding door open for fresh air. The maids kept the rooms clean, but the carpet was hopelessly stained. They appeared to be in the process of replacing mattresses and carpet, so that may be improved soon. It is close to the fairgrounds, if you have cause to go there.”

“For a 1 star hotel. This hotel is great. They need to update their beds but the room was ok. I would say this is a tad better than a motel 6 which is a basic room.”

“This was a miserable stay. We were scheduled for two nights and we left a night early (and paid for it).”

“Generally a good place with sufficient parking and amenities. Bathrooms are dated and breakfast was fine, but room and accessories were lacking. The location was good to a degree since the highway and street intersect in a very odd way.”

“There was a kid screaming till 12:30 next door, when there were many rooms open. Also, we had a view of the wall of adjacent building when there were many open rooms with view of the pool.”

“Not that attractive of a hotel. The front desk clerk was very rude. The rooms were nice and big but the wireless connection was non functional. They said they had a hot tub, wasn't there. It was close to the location I needed to be but otherwise I would never plan to stay at this hotel purposely.”

“We had been driving all over trying to find a place we could watch the OSU football game in a strange town. Finally went to hotel. He called us rude (2 times) for changing the channel. There was no one else in the lobby but us. (He apparently was watching). My husband of all people tried to get me to let it go. We went into the attached BBQ. Couldn't get the game we were looking for, but the people there were very friendly and the food was great. The hotel room was surprisingly updated and clean. The exterior of the hotel is dated. The staff the next day was very professional and the light breakfast provided was adequate. It turned out to be an ok experience.”

“In-flight path of 4-5 ad 6 am flights. No a/c - carpets soiled - room outdated - typical of Travelodge low quality not one would recommend at any price - printer on computer hasn't worked for 3 months! According to desk.”

“The receptionist ignored when we first came to check in, the room was a weekly rent room in the far back corner of the hotel and the carpet was stained and the room very poorly kept. Construction workers were in the adjoining rooms and were loud and drinking and swearing and it was very noisy. The continental breakfast did not start until 8 a.m. (so as not to have to feed the construction workers I assume) and we tried to get coffee at 7:30 and they told us we had to wait until 8. We had to leave by 7:30 to get to a family funeral. Not a good experience at all.”

“Beware! The desk staff is extremely rude. Check in, check out were painfully slow and they weren't very busy. I would not recommend this hotel. There are better and nicer hotels on the same street.”

“This hotel has great pricing but needs lots of remodeling to be up to par with other hotels. The appearance is very early 70's, the surrounding areas were unkempt, doors to the outside where propped open (which didn't make us feel very secure), and the front desk reception person was not very friendly.”

“This hotel is older, but in good shape. The hotel staff was slow and unresponsive during check in; in fact we had to return twice to get the room keys activated. Check in took at least 45 minutes. The hotel itself has paper thin walls; we heard every conversation between both neighbors. I would recommend this hotel only to those who are traveling through, and just need a place to sleep. This hotel is far from the ocean and tourist attractions. There are no services provided by the hotel for transportation to tourist sites. We checked out the next day and upgraded to a hotel with far thicker walls for a better night sleep.”

“All carpets, furnishings, doors, etc. could use an update. Carpets were stained, linens worn. Located right next to the airport, landing airplanes were easily heard with the windows closed.”
