• Easy to find off highway 1, short drive to attractions.
• Small, crammed, smelly room; first room overlooked highway and noisy.

“Okay for one night stopover, but not for a leisurely visit. Some rooms are adjacent to busy highway 1 and noisy. All the rooms we saw were very cramped and seemed run-down. Front desk personnel at times could barely communicate in English. Layout required lots of walking to common areas, and lobby area not very inviting like other Hilton Garden Inns we've stayed at. Overall, a two star property, not much better than an economy motel. Disappointing.”

• Closet was tiny. Not enough space for 2
  people to use.

“Overall pleasant stay. I didn't use the pool nor fitness center but my guest did swim some laps and checked out the gym. He enjoyed it and its great that the hotel came with those amenities.”

• Very helpful front desk staff - gave us some recommendations for dinner.
• Closed ended parking inside the garage - had to drive in reverse a long ways when garage was full.

“Very comfortable room - the bed was nice although we couldn't see any change by moving the firmness control on the mattress. It was nice not to have to pay extra for wireless internet connection in the room.”

• Loved the accomodations.
• Underground parking was to small and full.

“Everything was great except the underground parking garage. It was full and the parking spaces were to small for our Dodge Ram but otherwise the outside parking wasn't inconvenient either. I would recommend this hotel.”

• Small fridge and microwave in room.
• Limited parking.

“Stayed 2 nights with wife & 3 sons (14 & 11). Boys had their own room next door. Staff was pleasant but not overly familiar. Rooms are small, but we didn't spend much time there. Boys enjoyed the pool. Great location, less than a mile from the oceanfront bike trail (Fisherman's Wharf area). We brought our bikes, but had to wheel them onto the room balconies at night for security.”

• The fitness room, pool, and grounds were beautiful.
• The bed was lumpy and the bathroom was very clean.

• Comfortable bed.
• We didn't have a balcony and were next to the gym room.

“It would have been a more enjoyable stay if the walls were thicker and if the gardener didn't start his lawn mower in the morning. Rooms were comfy.”

• Friendly accomodating staff took a special request over the phone to send breakfast to my husband's room on his birthday.
• Breakfast not included in the price; not within walking distance of the beach.

“Extremely accomodating staff; very child friendly - comfortable atmosphere. I was unable to travel with my husband and children, but called in a special request to front desk, and they walked over to the restaurant in hotel and made sure a surprise breakfast was delivered to the delight of my husband and kids. Really great place!”

• Very nice! Spacious rooms with needed necessities such as free Wifi, Refrig, & microwave.

“This hotel was very nice and so was the staff. Good location for the area. Had all of the needed amenities such as free Wifi, refrig & microwave. Also, in addition had a lounge, restaurant and a pantry store off lobby if needing anything snack, etc.”

• The patio was nice.
• The bed was hard as a rock, the toilet handel was broken and the room was small.

“I think of a hilton as a nice hotel, This hilton was a disapointment. There was hardly any room to walk around the room. The bed was hard as a rock, there where the option to change the settings but they were broken. Our toilet handel was broken. Parking is free.”

• The walls were a bit thin - sometimes you could hear the people from other room talking.

• Parking garage, bed comfort, pool/hot tub, fitness center.
• Didn't care for the front desk service. Asked for time for opening of Aquarium and got 2 different answers. They weren't all that friendly.

“We felt like we got a very good deal on this hotel from Priceline. The room was pretty good. We asked for an upgrade as far as the view, and they gave us a pool view room. The pool/spa area was very nice and clean. Our room was in good shape and was clean. There was a slight odor in the bathroom that did not go away, but it was fairly minor. I don't usually stay in hotels quite as nice as this one, so the parking garage and fitness center were very impressive to me. We spent most of our time touring the city of Monterey, so we did not spend a ton of time at the hotel, but we did get back in time to make use of the hot tub, which was pretty nice. For what we paid for the room we received, this was an excellent hotel for us!”

• The grounds were nice & it was quiet.

“The rooms were nice, bed was very comfortable. The area was quiet & felt like we were staying in a Garden. Yet it was still within in a 5 mile drive of many good restaurants & 10 minutes to Cannery Row.”
