• Front office staff was very accommodating. Very helpful!
• Quality of rooms was poor - shoddy workmanship in hotel bathroom.

“Hotel staff was great. They made accommodations for us arriving late night/early morning (2:30AM). They also helped out in calling cabs and local transportation. The quality of rooms was not very good. Bathrooms had recent renovations but the quality of the work was very poor. Tile was misaligned and there was a gap between the bathroom and the bedroom. Free parking was a plus.”

• Quiet tenants, comfortable beds, good TV, convenient area.
• Hard to open door.

• The shower.
• The construction right by our room.

“The room was nice, a little disappointed they didn't tell us about the construction which was right in front of our room, they should have put us somewhere else.”

• The room was clean, bed is very comfortable, serves breakfast.
• Too small for the price paid for, too warm for the ceiling fan, not hot enough for the air conditioner, wet bathroom floor not safe after shower.

“The hotel is across the street to a shopping center and down the street to fisherman's wharf. I would say it's not a hotel, it's just a better version of a motel.”

• The entrance.
• Front clerk.

“Everything was pretty nice except for the rude front desk clerk when we called for directions to the hotel. The bathroom was smelling. Had to go the nearest drug store for a deodarizer.”

• Even though the room was inexpensive it had a nice fire place.
• The beds were very uncomfortable!

“Upon arrival the associates were very nice an accommodating, but as we pulled into the hotel there were no parking spaces and the little parking spaces there were, were very crammed. Entering our room at first was extremely nice because the fire place set the tone, but through the night I could barely sleep due to the beds being uncomfortable. I woke up with kinks in my neck and a sore back.”

• This room was clean, comfortable, plenty of pillows blankets towels. Small continental breakfast available. Starbucks, whole foods, across street.
• Room was small. Outer facility could have been cleaner (old mattresses sitting outside in various locations.

“I and my husband enjoyed our stay. The room was surprisingly great for a 1 star. The room did become warm during the evening and the windows were difficult to open. The bathroom floor had heated tile and a ceiling fan hung over the bed. All and all, we considered the room to be great for the $$ and star rating.”

• The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was clean.
• The room was very dated run down and in need of upgrade.

“This hotel should not be rated as a 3star it should be rated as a 1star economy although the staff was very friendly and the location was great this hotel is very run down.”

• Staff was friendly and helpful.
• Loud sound of water when shower on or toilet flushed. Locks need to be checked on doors.

“Staff was helpful. Beds were clean as well as the bathroom. Thermostats and heaters, as well as dead bolt locks need to be fixed in some rooms. When shower was on or toilet flushed it was extremely loud water sound in our room as and could hear our neighbors when they showered and flushed toilet.”

• Quiet and serene.
• 130 dollars was a bit steep.

“It had a good feeling about it. It was run by a family, who smiled and were courteous to all near by info we asked about.”

• Room cleanliness, room size, decor, parking, ease of finding location.

“We did not enjoy our stay! The room was very small and dingy for the price paid; the maid did not leave enough towels, left a chair on the bed after cleaning, and got into an argument with her boyfriend out in the parking lot. The fan squeaked and rocked above our bed all night; it was just not up to par. We expected much more from the description on the web and for the price we paid per night.”

“Staffs were friendly. I would not recommend this hotel if you are traveling with young children. It was not clean to standard. I have stayed at numerous days inns and would not recommend this particular motel to anyone.”

• We were not informed of the remodel.. had we been we never would have booked..

“We called and talked to your representative about a refund on our last day that we didn't stay and gave our 48 hours notice and was told basically too bad.. So would I recommend this service.. Never... All we ask for was a refund of the day we paid for and didn't stay only to be met with a rude representative that basically said too bad no refunds... great way to run a business...”

• it is nowhere near the fisherman's wharf or the aquarium, that feature as advertised is bogus

“I do not like to deal with people who misrepresent hotel features and this one does, it is a few moles from the attractions it advertised.”

• the beds were firm, but not too firm.
• Continental breakfast choices were limited to cheerios, or toast. no coffee maker in room.

“Hotel was perfect if you're not planning to do anything there except sleep. They were remodeling, so the exterior didn't look very inviting, but the room was clean, and the beds comfortable.”

• I only had to stay one night.
• It was not clean, the wooden stairs were unsafe, it had a bad smell to it. The cont breakfast was a joke.

“I am sixty years old and have stayed all over the US, and this one place is by far the worst. It smelled, it was dirty, and turned up. I am writing AAA and advising them to take a closer look at this place for they may want to take their AAA rating down from the motel.”

• Hose in driveway to clean our dive gear.
• Spider webs in room, poor continental breakfast, misleading name - there is another Days Inn closer to Fisherman's Wharf.

“If you like a room with a noisy fan, no air circulation, good shower head, poorly kept up, then stay at this Days Inn. At least it was close to Whole Foods.”
