• Clean and quiet.

“Quiet clean hotel in wooded area. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Great parking, friendly staff.”

• I wasn't pleased.
• It seemed like a dump with bland lighting and strange smells.

“I wouldn't stay here again. The staff was wearing t-shirts and the room was just awful. Dim fluorescent lights, torn curtains and stains all over the place. This was supposed to be a 3 star hotel and was no better than a Motel 6.”

• The location and convenience to restaurants were excellent. They had coffee available to guests in the morning and evening which was a definite treat.
• The exercise room was poorly equipped. Some of the equipment was missing.

“The Pleasanton Marriott is at an excellent location. Easy to find, close to restaurants, excellent access to freeways and shopping. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. The hotel has free internet access available as well as computers for guest use in the lobby.”

• Great location, clean rooms, plenty of parking and
  very friendly staff.
• Nothing that I can think of. It was kind of noisy because we were by an entry door, other than that it was great.

“The room was very, very clean, it had a balcony/patio which was nice, perfect for travelers who are looking for something that is more on the upscale side. The bed was nice and comfy and the room was rather large. I would stay here anytime I was in the area. Also, the staff was fantastic.”

• Beautiful grounds, easy location.
• On the dirty side.

“Staff could do better at cleaning the room. There was medicine left in a drawer in my room which I luckily found before my 3 yr old did. I don't think they spend too much time cleaning it.”

• Clean.
• Staff could be more helpful, no orientation on hotel layout.

“Convenient location but difficult to read sign from street. Night staff clerk was less than helpful when checking in. Came across stacks of newspapers in the am on a lobby desk but none made them to hotel room door (tracked down an employee who said they were for guests). For business or family travel a notch above your standard hotel but for the price (and the fact you're not competing with more polished big city hotels) you would expect a little extra service.”

• Its Location is very good.
• It is more comfortable for family traveler, if there is kitchenette to full kitchen.

“This hotel is recommendable for business traveler. But for family it is not recommended. However, they have nice pool.”

• The location, the access to the internet were great.
• The buffet breakfast offering was very limited.

“Since the primary purpose is getting a good nights rest while on a trip, I felt that their bed did not come up to the comfort standard that I expect for their star rating.”

• Initial check-in Liz was excellent. The room was large and clean. Housekeeping was fantastic.
• A/C unit loud and disturbing unable to sleep. The subsequent front desk staff were not as friendly and polite. Manager and staff did not offer help.

“I would not stay there again based on the comfort on the property though it met my cost and convenience.”

• The bed was well made and looked inviting at the end of the day.
• Toilet flapper got stuck a few times; TV had sound problems the last day.

“We had stayed their before but on a different floor. It is close to my relatives home. A couple of good restaurants are in walking distance. During our stay (both times) the hotel was always clean, the staff helpful, the breakfast variety, flavor, and taste comparable to most restaurant breakfasts but a little pricey. Room cost was o.k.”
