• Free wireless internet, free hot breakfast buffet, great customer service and mall nearby!
• There was construction going on down the street; it wasn't too loud though.

“The front desk staff was very friendly and even if there were several people checking in at the same time, they seemed to make us all feel comfortable in a timely manner. The room was very clean. Smelled clean and fresh! The bathroom and the necessary amenities, the mattress felt brand new! So comfy! The blankets were nice and clean. Pillows lay neatly across the headboard. The location is great. Very convenient!”

• Far exceeded my expectations. Very well run property.
• Limited restaurant choices.

“Check in was fast, cheerful and professional. I asked for a north facing room and the clerk was more than happy to accommodate. The room was exceeded the star level. Bedding and linens were fairly new and of good weight and quality. There were four pillows, neatly arranged across the headboard. The bed was very comfortable. The room had no odors and everything was clean and working. It was decorated more like a 2 or 2 1/2 star place. I like the fact it's off any main thoroughfare though the restaurant choices are limited to a KFC across the street. There's a microwave and fridge for those staying longer.”

“Great location for local super market and restaurants. Close to north San Jose high tech companies. 2 floor motel rooms where you drive up and park in front of the rooms.”

• Smokey in lobby, dark dingy old rooms.

“This is a 1 star hotel and should not be a 2 star. The hotel is a dump. Upon checking in, the lobby was filled with smoke. Upon entering the room, I saw soiled carpets, cupboard, and doors. Off hinges chips in wood doors. Air conditioner is missing. Pieces of garbage were outside the room. Sheets were being changed on rollaway bed (who know how long they were soiled) while I waited. Couch was very old and soiled. It was dark dingy hall outside. The place seemed just like a rooming house.”

• Our sheets were dirty when we arrived and they gave us new ones right away.
• That the bed was dirty, not really cleaned before we arrived, felt gross in the room.

“The free breakfast was good, but staff would never smile or even say hello when you told them hi. The room was dirty on arrival; chip crumbs and hair in the bed. Cop cars outside the hotel. Loud at night (we stayed on a Wednesday and Thursday). I would never stay there again.”

• The services I counted on (Internet, breakfast) failed me.

“The cable TV, although it did have HBO, had a very restricted channel lineup (no Comedy Central, the one network I wanted). The high-speed Internet service went out after I'd used it for a few minutes. The shower head leaked a third or more of its water straight down, providing poor water pressure for a shower. The thin walls allowed my neighbor's 5am alarm (and three subsequent snooze alarms) to wake me easily. And the complimentary breakfast that was supposed to start at 6am was not ready until 6:25. This hotel failed me in so many ways, I cannot imagine returning.”

• The bathtub was nice.
• I had to clean the tub, one of the lights in my room kept flickering, and the refrigerator dropped water from the freezer on all of my food.

“It is amazing the difference. It was nice but there were little details that did not seem to be taken care of. The HBO pamphlets were from 2 months ago. The brochures left there, one was from last season. The bathroom did not seem clean to me. The neighborhood did not seem great, nor did the front desk people seem really friendly. Anyway, I would generally say that it was ok and I would not stay there again.”

• The hotel is not clean and I wouldn't recommend it to anybody.

• Several holes in bed cover, difficult to find hotel.

• Excellent location for high tech company in North San Jose.
• Noisy neighbors due shared door between rooms.

“Great breakfast, and great location, noise between rooms due to shared door. HBO and internet were great too.”

• Good high speed internet was able to connect to van and get email.
• Was a converted motel, and still has the old furnishing, slightly falling apart but other things have been modernized.

“Little out of the way from other hotels but the benefit is a quiet neighborhood. It's a motel that was modernized and now has good beds and good high speed internet. Free breakfast is actually deluxe continental breakfast, nothing hot but good coral, Danish, yogurt, choice of juices, small but nice breakfast room.”

“This hotel is fairly bare bones, but offers free wireless internet and has upgraded the bedding (which makes for a nice sleep). Convenient location.”

“Hotel is a former comfort in that has changed brands and it undergoing renovation. I was initially assigned a room that had not yet been renovated; it was unacceptable and I requested and was issued a renovated room. It was acceptable.”

• The pool and hot tub are great and rooms are nice.
• Only that construction held up access to breakfast room.

“This is our 4th year coming and great all the time. Marriots great America). Maybe have free local call out to the delivery menus that are in the rooms. But the staff are great especially Dolene. Will come again and wish there was a discount for reg. customers like us once a year. All is great! Thank you.”<
