• Great bed linens, towels and internet access.
• The room smelled like stale cigarette smoke.

“Overall, the hotel was comfortable and inviting. However, two light bulbs were out in my room, they were replace upon request and though I was told it was a non-smoking room it smelled distinctly of stale cigarette smoke. In the end, regretted not asking for a different room.”

• Convenient location.
• Too noisy and out of control. Elevator license expired. Metal broke off door and hit us.

“I made several complaints during my stay and wrote a letter after my stay to complain. Main office told me the hotel would contact me in a few days and they never did. Customer satisfaction not important here. Kids and families were in the hallway running and screaming most nights of my stay, and it wasn't the same families. One night a group of kids was playing some floor hockey type game right outside the elevator. Maybe the hotel doesn't offer a place for the kids, but then again it was around 10pm. I had to call and complain. Also, while exiting the building, a chunk of metal popped out the door frame and hit my husband in the head. Hotel staff did not even try to offer an apology at the least. Also, the elevator license expired back in March 2008. My visit was in July 2008. They are not keeping the building up to code, which probably explains the chunk of metal breaking off the door. I waited so long to complete this survey to give the hotel time to contact me but obviously customer satisfaction is not a priority. I don't trust Holiday Inn after this. Not a quality hotel.”

• Pool, cable television, quiet.
• Freeway view, parking lot configuration.

“Near high-tech, freeways and airport, this is a superb hotel for business travelers. The hotel was not very busy on the weekend we stayed, which was a plus, and the pool and grounds were very inviting and well maintained.”

• Beautiful gardens. Loved the spaciousness.
• Wanted to check in early as had game to go to but staff declined.

“Very nice hotel. Was nice having a sliding glass door. I utilized the door in the morning to get air instead of air conditioning. Loved the gardens and the overall spaciousness of the grounds.”

• I liked the amenities.
• The room.

“I could tell the hotel had many different rooms to offer clientele. They sent us to a room in a building in the very back. I asked if there was availability in the front buildings and they said no. The customer on the other side of the desk got a yes with the same question.”

• The pool, the area, the free parking.
• Bathroom door makes noise, TV sitting on the side of the room, the bath tube did not drain, no safe.

• Located close to airport, CA-101, free in-room WiFi and lobby work stations.
• Old, poor service, no refrigerator in room, ice machine near room didn't work.

“This place, while once elegant, really shows its age. It is in bad need of remodeling. Service was poor. Glasses and plates left in the hallways were not picked up for days. There is no refrigerator in the rooms. The ice machine nearest to the room never worked despite promises to fix it. The free in-room WiFi was nice and work stations are available in the lobby and business center.”

• Holiday Inn has improved greatly in the past few years.
• Right next to the freeway.

“I had been sleeping in a tent for 10 days so a bed and private shower was awesome! Actually, I travel a lot for business and stay at better hotels and find this one to be of equal caliber. Thanks.”

• TV reception was very poor. When reported to manager he acts like he didn't know about it.

“I was very disappointed with this Hotel I travel a lot and have stayed in Holliday Inns all across the country. This by far was the worst in service, safety, housekeeping, and TV. reception. I would not recommend this Hotel at all.”

• Morning breakfast waitress was very good.
• Room quality was poor.

“The room was not at all worth the money. There was mold in the shower and the TV was a small one put in a hole in the wall and it was not even in front of the bed. We had to turn our heads to the left to watch it. The air conditioner was very noisy also. The lobby of the hotel when you check in seemed very nice and updated and clean and then we got to out room and it was nasty.”

• Water in bathtub not hot enough, room on the small side, bed a little soft.
