• The friendliness of the staff and prompt guest service.

“I like the hotel, the room was clean. The room service attendants were very friendly and was eager to offer to clean the room (we stayed more than 1 night). It was nice and
quiet. It was a nice and relaxing trip for my boyfriend and I. I will definitely reserve a room at this hotel again.”

• Close to airport.
• Seemed old and dirty.

“ The lobby was dirty and small. When my husband asked about a place to get a steak, the receptionist stated the hotel's restaurant was having a special. "Great!", we said. Got to the restaurant, no sale or special. Next morning when we wanted directions to a well know and very large flea market. The hotel staff gave horrible directions! Another night we stayed at the Clarion, more expensive, but so much better! ”

• Convenient to airport. They run a shuttle. Clean, and attractive room.
• Close to freeway. Significant road noise.

“This is a former Hyatt property. It is well maintained and, if you have a car, is very convenient for the San Jose area. Nice gym and pool. Restaurant is satisfactory.”

• Location.
• There were rats in the room, the maintenance person says that its common.

“Horrible experience. We saw rats in the hotel. When we complained, the maintenance came and said that its no big deal. His explanation is "if there is no food, they will not comeback". They were not even apologetic tow hat happened. Apparently they had no rooms and said that they will move us the next day. It is a horrible hotel. This is a worst hotel in San Jose.”

“They have old and new buildings and old one is very bad like clogged bath tubs/fewer power points and that too near toilet.”

• A bit run-down. The food was terrible. The room was noisy from an adjacent freeway.

“This is not a 3 Star hotel. It should be rated a 2 Star hotel.”

• It was very close to the freeway, airport and local restaurants and offered shuttles to airport.
• I tried to call back, because I had left a charger for my son's Nintendo DS. Person asked me if I spoke Spanish? Never received phone call back.

“I was unimpressed with the lack of return call back regarding something I had left in the room. I did not appreciate calling and not having someone who spoke English there to help me.”

• The set up of the room.

“The set up of the room was not good, the TV and bed were side to side hard to enjoy. The entrance to the rooms was weird.”

• The placement of the television in a nook high and to the right of the bed was odd and difficult to view.

“A no frills hotel. The price was great. The TV was placed in a very unusual location. In a nook, high up on the wall to the right of the bed. The heating unit in the room was noisy.”

“It is a good value if you can negotiate a good price from Priceline. It is located close to the airport and they have shuttle service.”

• Very old hotel. Rooms smelled of mold.

“This hotel is definitely not a 3 star hotel. Because of the age and quality of the rooms I would rate it a 1 star hotel. The rooms and hallways smelled like mold has be growing for years. The staff was excellent and accommodating in changing our room twice because of the smell.”

“I would recommend this hotel to family, friends and strangers alike. A great value for the money and then some.The light rail stop is right in front of the property. No car rental necessary for this stay at all.”

• It was far better than I expected!
• Everything was perfect, so sorry, but I liked everything!

“This was incredible! I usually stay at a Motel 6 because I can't afford much, but for the same price I was able to stay at a fancy hotel. I kept expecting someone to knock on the door and tell me there was a mistake in the price. Incredible!”
