• The thing I liked best was the general decor and appearance of the room.
• I did not like that there is no free wireless internet.

“The staff was very friendly and professional. I found the room to be very hospitable and comfortable and would have been very suitable for an extended stay, although a microwave would be an improvement in that aspect. The only complaint I would have about this hotel is the lack of free wireless internet. They offer a wired service that is free only for one day, and the LAN wire wasn't even long enough to reach the desk surface so I had to use the computer in a rather uncomfortable position. Overall, a very nice business-oriented hotel however.”

“A typical courtyard by Marriott which met the standards I expected. I thought access to a computer in a business office would have been nice since I wasn't prepared to spend twenty cents per minute with a $4 min to use theirs.”

• Late checkout no problem, very accommodating and quit.
• Location was remote you needed a car to get anything.

• The price and location.
• Local construction going on, but still not bad for getting on and off highway.

“Just very nice. Maybe an extra blanket in room wood be nice. The heater makes a little too much noise, but didn't need that much heat.”

• Expensive lousy breakfast.

“Clean and nice but the breakfast is expensive for the price I paid. In other hotels with same star category offered it for free and I expect that if I have to pay for it, it would be better than the free breakfast offered by other hotels but it's exactly the same actually the free breakfast is better. Needs a lot of improvement on that.”

• This hotel is clean and well maintained
• Washer or dryer in self-use facilities could use a outside cabinet cleaning.

“As with the other Courtyard or Residence Inn hotels that I have stayed at in this area, this hotel was clean. Home style pillow-top mattress is used, so it's not too soft or too firm. Conveniences, such as coffee maker and hairdryer in room, were nice. Although breakfast was extra ($10.95), it was an all you can eat with very nice sausage links, fluffy eggs, seasoned hash brown potatoes, and tasteful waffles! I had to ask the hotel about the waffle mix!”

• This hotel is clean, friendly, and quiet. Perfect.
• Its location was at the opposite end of town, that I wanted to be. Ugh.

“The most convenient Marriott Hotel for me is in Newark, Ca. Several miles to the North, at the opposite end of the Newark Fremont area. For the last few years and for the next several years we have been and will be traveling there to attend numerous High School sporting events. ”

• I liked the exercise room.
• I did not like the fact that the towel holder fell of and almost hit me in the head and the toilet ran very slow before filling up to be flushed again.

“I did not like the fact that I was told that someone from management would be sent to my room shortly to deal with the issues that I had with the room and after waiting 30 minutes I left because I felt ignored and unimportant. I prefer to never stay there again and I would not recommend anyone to stay there.”

• The room was refurbished and the decor was very nice.
• The mattress was a weird sponge and the doors are paper thin. Very loud from hallway.

“This hotel is fine to stay at for short periods. I recommend staying on an inside room if possible, or a downstairs outside room. No morning free breakfast options are annoying for the business traveler price. I wouldn't expect anything extra. The person checking me in was a bit of a snob and completely ignored a question I asked. this is my second stay and my first stay was better except for the spongy mattresses.”

• Price.
• The Heater. Like central air and heat better. Too loud.

“The price was the best thing. It was a nicely kept motel and pretty easy to access the highway. The rooms were very sound proof and the hotel staff was very nice. Would stay again.”

“I didn't know this hotel was undergoing a remodeling. I would not have agreed to this purchase if I knew this could happen. There were security doors left open, dirt everywhere, nothing worked, total disaster.”

• Over charges for thing I did not buy, hotel renovations.

“This hotel has charged me, on two occasions, for things I did not purchase. In one instance, I was charged, 29$, and on another night, two weeks later, I was charged 39$, for what, I do not know. Also, the hotel is going through renovations. I would not recommend this place.”

• the bed matresses are very thin, like the ones they use on hide a beds on a couch

“Very easy to find, clean. When we checked in the employees were very friendly, helpful. We were told that if we needed to use the internet for only a few minutes that they would wave the $4 charge. Then, the next morning when we attempted to use it we were told that we had to pay. The mattresses are horrible for such a nice hotel - very thin and uncomfortable. Otherwise our stay was fine.”

• There was a fitness room.
• They are very close to a noisy interstate highway.

“Overall, it was worth the money I paid. They had relatively clean rooms. The hotel is adjacent to a busy highway so it can get quite noisy. Definitely worth what I paid though. They did forget to give us a free newspaper in the morning and the staff was unavailable to help in this regard. We left rather than have to argue with them.”
