• Convenient location for what we needed, friendly staff.
• The room had a horrible smell!

“We just needed a place to spend the night. They gave us a room that had a handicap bathroom. And the room had a very strong smell; actually it seemed like the smell was coming from the toilet. But we were just so tired to ask for another hotel room and after a couple of minutes we got used to that smell. Bed was comfortable though, I don't like soft mattress, so that one was just right.”

• We were awakened at 7:00 AM with a fire alarm, the staff made no effort to communicate with us the fire was on the third floor, we were on the first.

“The staff was nice friendly at check in or in the morning at check out. We had to leave very early 7:00 because of something happening on the third floor, we were on the first, the fire trucks
were there, the staff made no attempt to reassure us that all was well or not so we left very early after checking in really late from driving all day. There was no communication from the hotel staff regarding the fire alarm raging in our ears.”

• The price and location are good.
• In the middle of remodeling.

“I have stayed at the Extended Stay in Vacaville several times and have not really had a problem until this last trip. They were in the middle of remodeling so carpet was torn up in the hallways. The front counter was also closed when I got there which hasn't happened before and they wanted my drivers license number on everything which I didn't like. I'll probably stay again though because the price is right for a kitchenette and the location is good for me too.”

• Spacious.
• Bed was too firm and refrigerator was
  too loud.

“Good for extended stay guests. For one night when you are not planning to cook, the refrigerator was noisy and unnecessary. Coffee that was provided was a nice touch. The bed was uncomfortable because it was too hard.”

• Rude clerk. Dirty room.

“Clerk stayed on phone for 14 minutes with a guest arguing about a direct bill issue before she even acknowledged us. Basic check-in for two rooms took another 20 minutes. Went to my room and discovered that room had not been serviced from prior guest. Since it was after 6 PM the housekeeping crew was gone so they gave me another room. Had to go back down to front desk twice because key wouldn't work. No apologies.”

• Full size fridge, sink, and a few dishes; nice staff.
• Beds were awful - cheapest we've seen.

“This hotel should be considered one step above a motel -- only because it has a kitchen. The beds are cheap and hard. You have to pay extra for general housekeeping. No shampoo bottles.”

• Location was great like the kitchen area and nice size bathroom.
• First room had ants in the bathroom, carpet was dirty & smelled like cig smoke.

“I like staying there, have stayed there many times before & it was great, but this last time wasn't good. A bad room and they world give us another room until the next morning. We stayed 3 days.”

• I checked in at 2:30 AM. The night desk clerk could not have been more accommodating. She was absolutely wonderful and helpful!
• No problems at all!

“Excellent value. Staffs were excellent, helpful. I am happy they accepted by offer. No disappointments at all.”

• Convenience of having the kitchen with the room.
• On a non-smoking floor and I could smell cigarette smoke all around me.

“The stay was great. The only thing I didn't like was the smokers around me. They wanted to move me but I thought they should have moved the smokers since they were the ones smoking in a non-smoking area. The room and accommodations were wonderful.”

• Old furniture, dirty recliner, unattractive, hard bed, no newspaper.

“Fine if all you want to do is get in, plop on the bed and wake-up and leave. The atmosphere appears very old and used. It was cleaner this week w/different room but the windows were so dirty you could barely see outside. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, ever.”
