• It met our expectations for a Marriott.
• The lavatory area was small and had no place to store toiletries.

“Ideal location for someone wanting to be in the Tri-valley area of the East Bay.”

• Location and nearby restaurants.
• Horrific acoustics. Could easily hear everything outside. Mattress very old.

“Looks perfect, but sounds not so great. Nice looking place with great location-restaurants and nearby shopping were nice; however, the acoustics were horrible as if there were no walls to insulate from street outside. Definitely request an opposite-freeway-side room (which I changed to and helped). Mattresses were very old and springy-not very Marriottesque in my opinion. Replace the mattresses and put actual stucco on outisde of the place to insulate noise and you have a clear winner.”

• Large room with balcony.
• Really loud AC and traffic noise.

“It's okay, the AC unit is really loud. I had to turn it off to sleep but it was really hot outside so I opened the door and the traffic noise was really loud so I didn't get any sleep. I would not recommend to somebody who is a light sleeper.”

• Great location, near food and shopping.
• Potato chip crumbs outside our room at check-in, still there when we checked out the following day.

• Comfortable, convenient, down comforters, extra pillows on bed.
• Bed skirts all messed up on the bed which took away from the beds.

“If in the area and the price was right I would stay again. I ended up staying two nights instead of just one.”

• I enjoyed the breakfast buffet.
• The toilet did not flush properly and although the biscuits on the buffet were good, it took them awhile to restock the items on buffet.

“Overall I am happy with my stay. It would have been better if the toilet had of worked properly and if the staff had of filled the empty items on the buffet more quickly.”

• It was very clean.
• No restaurants on site except a breakfast buffet in the mornings. The beds were a little hard.

“The people were very nice and helpful at this hotel. The rooms were very clean but the beds are a little uncomfortable. I like on site restaurants which they do not have. But there are 2 restaurants within a walking distance of 3 minutes.”

• Free internet access, computer available in lobby, later check out time.
• The hallway where room was located smelled like some had changed a Childs diaper. That was bad!

“I liked the hotel and staff. The room was nice, and fairly quiet. Good amenities. The only flaws were the odor in the hallway, which remained during the entire stay, and the fact that though I checked in after 5, the cleaning staff apparently failed to list which rooms had been cleaned, so I sat and waited for almost 30 minutes while the desk staff determined if there was a room available. Overall though, a pleasant place to stay.”

• The TV.
• The elevator can hear people coming and going.

“It was ok but they put me by the elevator and you could hear people coming and going but other than that the place was very clean and front desk staff was great.”

• The hotel provided a wireless internet connection.
• No comment.

“Other then when we checked in our experience was excellent. The front desk asked for my credit card when we checked in, they told me it was for security reasons, and then debited $30 from my account. They failed to tell me this, and did not provide me with a receipt. However they put the $30 back. I figured it was a Security Deposit.”

• The room was spacious, I had internet access, hot water for tea and the staff was very nice.
• I asked to have a two bed room but was denied. The bed was too hard and bothered my back. I had to move to the pull out sofa.

“I was pleased to stay in such a nice hotel for the price I paid. Access to and from the freeway was easy. The staff accommodated me in storing my bicycle in one of the conference rooms during my stay. They were very prompt when I asked for anything. Everything was great about this hotel except the bed needed a nova foam topper.”

“Excellent hotel. Gave me a refrigerator for free. Very friendly staff reassigned my room to a quiet room. Repairs are made promptly. ”

• Clerk (peter) was not very accommodating.

“Convenient and clean. If the check-in clerk was a little more courteous and accommodating, I would have no problem giving this hotel a higher evaluation. The check-in staff at other courtyard and residence inn facilities of Marriott in the nearby areas is far more courteous and responsive in our experience.”

• One of my favorite within my budget, one of the best so far.
• Restaurant staff can hardly understand simple English, this issue could be looked at by the management. Thanks.

“Very good and comfortable, makes you really feel at home. Wait a minute, at home I had to fix my bed and scrub the bath tub. But I miss home, and hope to be back soon. The staff is friendly and accommodating.”
