  • It's very poor and dirty, even I cancel the reservation and ask them to get my money back, and they refuse.
  • Dirty and cheap.

“It's not the place that I expected, the reservation is canceled, and they ask me to contact u guys to get the money back and I wish u can do that for me. The other thing I talk with u guys to check Ramada hotel, u said it's full when I left that dirty hotel, I went to Ramada hotel and I did find a place their.”

  • There was nothing I liked about this hotel.
  • Shared bathrooms, and they were filthy and in disrepair. Only one working toilet for the whole floor.

“An absolute pit, you would be better off sleeping in a bus station bathroom than the pacific inn. Shared bathrooms, the mens room only had one working toilet for the entire floor and were utterly filthy. The room smelled like smoke and sweat. I asked for a wake up call, I asked three times, when I checked in, and said it was really important. Which of course I never did get. When I told the person at the desk in the morning, she didn't even pretend to care much less apologize. I'd rather spend a night in a Mexican jail than this hotel.”

  • Rooms need remodeling and/or upgrading.

“Staff is friendly and microwave breakfast is free.”

  • Cheap stop south of the airport.
  • It's a loud residential hotel full of trashy people.

“We were there for eleven hours. Nothing is that bad for eleven hours. There were no screaming fights or fire alarms, and the bed was warm. That is my ringing endorsement. The things a person booking a room at this hotel online should be aware of are: it's a residential hotel, which means that people who can't get an apartment in Sunnyvale live there instead. These are your neighbors. It's not so bad, for a night - who hasn't wanted to meet a one-armed man or a hunchback? For any sort of extended stay, I'd recommend considering carefully how well you want to get to know them, however. The Jacuzzi tub you're imagining based on the write-up on the site is probably not going to be matched in reality, so skip the champagne and silk robe, heft, and just be grateful that you're not sharing the bathroom with the other folks in the hall. The Jacuzzi is the kind of jet-powered bathtub you find in a retirement home, not the kind that you get stoked about on your honeymoon. ”

“Hotel was dirty. They were serving breakfast but refused to let me eat when I checked in. The lady behind the counter was rude.”

  • It was inexpensive.
  • Very small rooms looked a lot like a college dorm room with a bed that pulled down from the wall. Steel folding chairs.

“Reasonably clean and had most amenities. It was a fair value. Great for small business owners on a very tight budget. You will never get corporate travelers to stay there -- or wives!”

  • Cheap. Close to downtown Sunnyvale.
  • This is a one star hotel. The rooms show some wear.

“This is a one star hotel. The rooms show some wear. It is, however, very inexpensive, and it is right next to the downtown Sunnyvale district, which has great restaurants and it is walking distance (two blocks) to the Sunnyvale Cal train station.”

Cleanliness:[2] • Staff:[4] • Location:[6]

  • There is absolutely nothing good about this hotel.
  • Small room, thin walls, loud noise from toddler crying for 2 hours, bad service, etc.

“The bed I had to sleep with was in a closet. I couldn't even find it at first. The room was ridiculously small that each person had to take turns walking around or climb over the bed. The walls were very thin. A toddler cried for 2 hours the night I checked in and again the next morning starting at 8:30am. ”

  • Most American women wouldn't want to stay here.

“Great location, friendly staff, comfortable bed & pillows, great for single business traveler. Room I got came with 2-burner stove, microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator. Free breakfast had many food and beverage choices.”

Cleanliness:[3] • Staff:[5] • Location:[5]

  • Breakfast buffet.
  • Rooms were tiny, with old/dirty Murphy bed and bed-bugs.

“This is more of a hostel then a hotel. The rooms were tiny, and had a Murphy-bed that folded out. I definitely got bitten up by bedbugs. I am very familiar with 1star hotels but this is more like a half star. No comparison to the typical homestead 1star etc. I was particularly disappointed to learn that the normal room-rate is only $35/nt. Overall very disappointing experience.”

  • The bathtub.
  • The location, the uncooperative and unfriendly staff.

“I received bad directions to the hotel from the front desk staff, had to park 1/2 a block away from the hotel, when I finally got to my room the TV. Wasn¿t working and had to change rooms to another floor, it was quite the experience¿”

  • None.
  • Too small, old, not clean enough.

“Regrinding pacific inn at 170 s Sunnyvale avenue: you should not consider this type of place as a hotel. The room was way too small which I have never ever seen a room that small, old and dirty (shared restroom & shower room) I will try to avoid getting the hotel. However other pacific inn (there are several in the area) which I stayed a week later was okay!”

Cleanliness:[4] • Staff:[2] • Location:[5]

  • There was a fridge and microwave in the room.
  • The decor is outdated and the bathroom sink is outside of the bathroom.

“I thought the previous reviews had to be a bit harsh. And at first, I thought they were. The hotel is a bit tired, but not a horrible place for the money. But then my room wasn't cleaned for 3 days, even after I complained! However, don't expect a great experience at a two-star level.”

Cleanliness:[3] • Staff:[1] • Location:[6]

  • Hot tub.
  • Horrible breakfast, negative staff, dirty facility.

“I would definitely not stay at this hotel again. The staff was clueless and had no idea what they were doing. The complimentary breakfast consisted of old and moldy microwave bread and waffles with stale cereal. And the hotel was disgusting. Doors were falling off and there was no one to express complaints to.”
