• The lobby was nice and staff was very friendly!
• There were hairs in the bathtub.

• Quiet, clean, attractive spaces, nice exercise room and convenient to the highway & shops.

“This is a very nice hotel in a convenient location right off highway 680. It is in an attractive, safe location and has nice landscaping & good lighting. You can walk across the street to a small shopping area with a nice Panera & another restaurant we didn't patronize. A larger shopping center is a short and easy drive away. The hotel is quiet, clean and the housekeeping staff seemed very considerate & capable. The exercise room was uncrowded and had very nice equipment with built-in TV's. We didn't use the pool, but it looked very nice.”

• Hotel is conveniently located from airports, SFO downtown, NAPA and in a safe neighbourhood of Concord,CA.
• Smelly room, not family friendly, unclean bathrooms, No Internet access.

“We were on a vacation trip to Bay area and Napa valley. We were travelling with a 14 month old toddler. The good things about our stay with Hilton Concord was 1) convieniently located from both
Oakland and SFO airports. 2) Safe neighbourhood. 3) Reasonably priced room. The things we did
not like are: 1) our room was really smelly. It could be due to old carpet or it was previously a smoking room. We requested a non-smoking room. 2) there was no free Internet access. In this day and age why would you charge few dollars per hour for Internet access. 3) The bathrooms did not have exhaust fans. It could get really stuffy after a single shower. The shower curtains were not clean. 4) There were college kids in the next room and were really noisy late into night. We had to complain every day. We were supposed to be on a quiet and family frindly floor but obviously we were not. This is not the standard you expect from a Hilton hotel.”

• Convenient location to highway, but on the edge of an airport.
• Children running through the lobby, inconvenient elevator location down a hall. Narrow, dark stinky hallway. Small elevator far from sight.

“This was a disappointment. The hallway to the elevator is long and multiple turns. There is no security in the set up. Directions to the elevator and marked on a map and it still wasn't clear. The hallways reeked of smoke. The room did have windows that open, but the outside noise was much too loud to sleep. This hotel backs up to an airport and the windows do not keep out the noise. This hotel reminded me of a bad Fairfield Inn or a hotel 6 not a 3.5 star level property. The Hilton is about 1 mile down the road and with it's flaws is superior to this property in every way except housekeeping. Hilton still has a long way to go to reach a level of consistency that meets 3.5 star in that area.”

• The room was spacious.
• The room provided no fridge and the ice machine was broken on my floor.

“The hotel is generally pretty clean, although the elevator entry and exit from the main lobby remained sticky for the two days I was their. Overall, it's a nice place to stay.”

• Friendly staff and a clean enviroment.
• Did not have movies on demand, no HD, and only a 19 inch TV.

“Overall the hotel room was clean, and grounds were beautiful, the room was adequate with the exception of not having HD, movies on demand and an old 19 inch RCA television. The staff were friendly and acomidating.”

• It was super clean and quiet with very friendly staff. Great location.
• No complaints at all.

“Traveling with two friends that were also very pleased with the hotel's quality and convenient location. You had everything you needed at the Hilton Concord. You could stay within the building and have all of your needs met. It is that accommodating and very friendly staff.”

• Comfortable & clean.
• The cash deposit I hadn't been told about, and the fact that I was charged for local phone calls .

“Overall I would have to say I was pleased. The fact that I was charged for
local phone calls upset me, I don't agree with that at all.”

• The furnishings and chandaliers, etc are gorgeous.
• The prices in the snack machine.

• Friendly, informative, professional staff.
• Restaurant was a bit pricey.

“The revolving door was a bit tricky to navigate with two rolling suitcases, but the entrance into the lobby was fantastic. It was easy to discern the location of the front desk, bar and dining area. However, the fitness room was a bit small and lacking of more weight training equipment. The elevators were quick, rooms immaculate, but I was a bit disappointed in the wireless internet. It was a very pleasant stay.”

• Clean with wonderful staff and close to our grandchild.
• No indoor pool and Jacuzzi, tho rare 30 degree CA weather.

“The hotel was very clean with reasonable accommodations. The thing that stands out is the wonderful staff. Even if there was something they could not help us with (rare), they were fabulous. It was close to our grandchild, and we would have loved to bring her over to the pool and jacuzzi, but the rare 30 degree CA weather made an outdoor pool inappropriate even if heated (still rather cool). Overall, wonderful experience.”

• It was very comfortable (the bed & I enjoyed the quiet).
• There was absolutely nothing to watch on
  TV unless you paid for movies & the prices were exhorbitant

“No free Wi-Fi which is ridiculous, nothing on the TV
unless you paid for it. The hallways are in great need of vacuuming along the ceiling and where the fire sprinklers are. The hotel was very quick to put an authorization through on my
credit
card
but they sure have been lagging at releasing it.”

• The service was amazing, all of the staff was genuinely friendly and helpful.
• It was a little old for my taste.

“Although the hotel seemed a little old, and little less than a normal Hilton in style. It was excellent at what matters most, the service was amazing. Room Service promptly brought hot water for my tea when requested, and the bell staff was speedy and very friendly. Everything was clean, and comfortable, all the towels etc. The location was excellent as well with lots of restaurants and businesses nearby. I would definitely stay there again!”
