• Worn furniture in room, TV did not work well, they did not make the room the first day.

“It was a distress room with worn furniture and older TV with poor reception. Desk chair was so worn it has worn holes on the armrests. Room was dark and not bright at all.”

• The staff was wonderful They gave us a goody bag when we arrived.
• Crown café, the food was poor for the price.

• The room was too dark and there were mosquitoes.

“The hotel is at a convenient location. The price of the room is cheap for a 3-star hotel. However, the environment surrounding the hotel is not properly maintained. There are trees and bush around; there is pool and stream in the hotel, and mosquitoes which is very frustrating. Besides, the furnitures in the room is old and dirty, the surface is broken, too. All in all, I don't think I will go to this hotel again.”

• Clean, nice towels, welcome care package, professional welcome, and a nice store where we could buy emergency presents!
• There were very noisy people next doors - the connecting door is not well insulated so they really disturbed us.

“This hotel is a good choice if you want to visit or do business in the area. Clean rooms, nice towels, all what you need is there - I don't know what they can do with people who were really noisy like this. They blasted the TV at 5:30am. It seemed like 4-people were in the room. Otherwise, this hotel had a serene and peaceful atmosphere.”

• Hotel staff where helpful.
• Non smoking room smelled like smoke, internet in room did not work, small biz work station in lobby.

“Hotel needs to be updated for biz travelers, internet too slow, needs wireless in rooms not just lobby, and restaurants only open for dinner. Located just off highway (thats ok) close to restaurants. Hotel was very busy all weekend, several large buses came in. Hotel staff was very nice and helpful.”

• Staff though not rude was not helpful at all. Bathrooms had broken and old tubs. No courtesy to get it fixed. Internet & TV didn't work and front desk.

• The beds are so comfortable and cozy, you don't want to leave this place.
• Poor service at the restaurant.

“The stay was very good. The location is excellent. Very clean hotel and the rooms. The only problem we encountered was the restaurant. We checked in late and wanted to dine in the hotel restaurant. It was past 9pm and the restaurant closes at 10:00. When we came in there, we had to stand for a while at the entrance, because there was nobody from personnel around. Finaly the waiter/host/cook came out of the kitchen five minutes later. He sat us at the table and said: "We have a party of fifteen, that we have to serve, so you can just sit here, read the menu, take your time, because we are not even going to start cooking for you for a while." We were tired after a long drive, hungry, it was late, other restaurants usually close their doors also at 10:00. And the price in the hotel restaurant was that of upscale restaurants. So, we left. There is a big mall on the next exit from freeway - with tones of restaurants and fast food joints. So, if you stay in this hotel (and it's a good place to get a good nights sleep), don't bother going to ther restaurant - there are other restaurant pretty close for any appetite and choice: stake houses, sushi, seafood, Mexica, American, Italian - you name it.”

• It was extremely clean and friendly and comfortable.
• Nothing.

“We called from the sunup golf course looking for transportation to the hotel as our ride had headed into san Francisco. The desk clerk was extremely helpful and sent a taxi to pick us up at a very low cost.”

• The rooms where clean and recently remodeled and the TV was a little bit of an upgrade.
• I ordered chefs salad but they forgot the dressing.

• The lobby was clean and the location was convenient.
• The hotel smelled and the rooms needed updating.

“Many of the windows in the hallways were left open in an attempt to mask the smell. The rooms were old and in need of updating. This was not what I thought a crowne plaza was like. Your current rating is too high for this particular hotel.”

• The beds were wonderful! Pillows, duvet, all superior.
• No internet connection of any kind in room! I would not have stayed here, if I would have known the only wireless was in the lobby.

“Location is a bit odd, and didn't expect such a nice hotel here. Beautiful view from room redwoods, pool, and spa area. Beautiful lobby. The parking in the back of the hotel made me a little uneasy. Security was not evident here. If you are a business traveler that needs to connect to the Internet from your room, do not stay here. I was told only a few of the rooms had service, and they were already sold out. The lobby has wireless, but I did see a business man move from the lobby to pool side for service, and the temperature was about 35 degrees. Leeds me to believe that the wireless in the lobby was not strong.The rooms are nice, and the bed is wonderful! I understand why they make an effort to give you a sleep mask, cd and aroma therapy to sleep. If you do not turn music or the a/c on. The rooms are very noisy. The toilet would run off and on all night and the walls are thin. I left the TV on low all night.”

“On my first day, I was expecting my room to be clean and fix accordingly. Came back at 10 pm that night and my room was not fix or clean.”
