• Beautiful and comfortable.
• High priced parking.

“Beautiful hotel, with great health club/spa on the premises (included with room). Top Quality all the way. My only complaint is that the only parking is valet parking at a very high price.”

• Health club, restaurant, pool, food.
• Slow registration, missing staff from front desk (no one there when we arrived - waited 5 minutes with another group, had to ask valet to find someone).

“Great 24 hour stay! Used most of the facilities, restaurants and some services - all good. Really enjoyed everything. No views or balconies which we generally enjoy but services make up for that. Noon check-out was nice.”

• Reception was very friendly, smart, and professional.
• I like to order hot chocolate made with milk for breakfast and it wasn't on the menu, but the server did make it for me. Thank you.

• Could have a better dinner.

• Great concept if you know anyone interested in blending hospitality and fitness. Access to fitness classes & fantastic sports club!
• Valet parking only!

“Great concept if you know anyone interested in blending hospitality and fitness. I had the opportunity to enjoy fitness classes that I would not usually take and equipment I have not used. My room was right above the children's play area so I know they had fun too. Excellent staff and good attention to the details that make a difference.”

• I really like the gym and workout facilities.
• I did not like that there was mandatory valet parking.

“I normally would not have stayed at a 4-star hotel. Walnut Creek is not the most happening of places, but there is a nice little downtown area to explore as well as Mount Diablo State Park nearby. The hotel itself definitely lives up to it's 4-star rating. There is a very nice gym with tons of elliptical, treadmills and free weights. I didn't use the studio workout rooms or the basketball/volleyball courts though. The lockers were very posh and the Jacuzzi and sauna rooms were a plus, though the outdoor pools were a tad small for my taste. The only bad thing about this place is that there is required valet parking at either $15 or $18 per night (I think Friday and Saturday nights are $15 each and all other nights are $18).”

• Rooms are small. Bathrooms are large and very nice.
• The view of the wall from the window.

“A nice business hotel in the middle of Walnut Creek, CA. The sports center gives the lobby a sportive look and feel. The restaurant needs a lot of work on food and service.”

• Hotel Staff was very helpful and friendly.
• Only double beds, should be queen size.

“This is the worst hotel I have stayed in. Check in time was 3:00 PM and we got there at 8:00 PM for them to tell us that the room is not ready because they had no linens for the beds.”

• Great staff and workout facility, healthy food that tastes good.
• Not much of a store on facility for magazines, etc.

“I would recommend this place to all, but families with kids will be delighted. We went without kids and enjoyed the facility immensely with special workouts, classes and massages keeping us happy.”

• I love the amenities - gym and pool access.
• I do not like the valet set up where every time you come/go you have to valet. I did not like that there was not a mini fridge in the room -- 4 stars?

“Awesome hotel in so many ways, but no fridge makes for when you stay longer a hassle. Valet parking only which is a hassle again if you are coming and going a lot.”

• The shower and the staff.
• No parking had to valet each time we parked. Not a lot of variety for room service.

“This hotel would have been awesome for a business traveler who likes to eat granola and is fitness. The location wasn't suitable for my daughter and I who am 26.There was no food establishments located in or around the hotel. There was one snack place inside the hotel that served all health nut foods. Also, there was no self-serve parking. We had to valet each time we were to come back to the hotel. The shower they had was amazing and the room was nicely decorated. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to families or leisure adults, only business people.”

• Great location and great facility.
• Service in restaurant was average at best.

“Overall, a great place to stay, play and exercise. It has it all and is close to everything in the Bay Area. The only downfall was the wait staff in the restaurant. I was very impressed with the staff of the hotel and the fitness club. Very friendly and professional.”

• The room took quite a while to cool down, tub wouldn't hold water.

• Staff was very friendly and responsive to requests. The location is incredibly convenient and yet you feel like you are at a spa.
• Feels like continuous tipping required for car access.

“Exceptionally convenient location -- to highway, to rapid transit, to Downtown Walnut Creek. The staff is also exceptionally responsive and very friendly. Facilities are excellent. You could live here comfortably for a while!”

• Hotel staff were extremely courteous and helpful.
• Expensive food for the quality, pool is part of a fitness club and overcrowded with kids.

“This hotel only receives it's listed 4 star rating by its amenities; however, the quality is not significant. The rooms were supposedly remodeled but are already falling apart. Sheets are standard quality. Food is very expensive and not very competitive for its prices. Mandatory valet parking. The club is a community fitness club so there are allot of children with their parents you need to fight off in order to swim laps. Great basketball gym and staff are very helpful. There are no restaurants or bodegas nearby, so if you want to walk to get a bite to eat, you can't. Which means you have to get valet to pull your car out. The valet attendants were very prompt and helpful, but when I'm on a business trip, I'd like to be able to walk a few blocks to purchase a soda or a sandwich. The hotel's menu is way over-priced (breakfast $12, all you can eat breakfast $14, I just wanted a bowl of oatmeal and can't believe those prices are expected to be paid. If you are in the Walnut Creek/Pleasanton area, I would recommend the Marriot Pleasanton over this place. Better food, higher quality rooms, nice facilities, and mall nearby.”

• First room was small dark and not acceptable 2nd room much better.
