“We arrived late and the desk clerk was friendly and efficient. The room was quiet and well appointed. Self parking was easy and convenient. I would stay here again.”

“Clean, comfy, convenient location. It would have been nice if the TV was working. The hotel did provide complimentary shuttle service to nearby areas.”

“Overall the hotel is very nice. My only concern is potential parking problems should I stay here in the future.”

“The poor young clerk looked like she wanted to scream or quit. The band was only about 25 feet from her location, so there was nothing she could do. The hotel parking garage had several floors, no marked door or directions on how to get up to the lobby. The stairs I used brought me out into a catering kitchen apparently, and ended up behind the noisy band, which I had to walk around to get to the front desk.”

“The hotel itself was beautiful, and the staff excellent. The parking was very odd, in that you had to park down the street. We do not like valet parking so that wasn't an option. The room was extremely nice BUT the room had a vibration to it. Maybe we were on top of the air conditioner motor? SO I am ambivalent as to if it was good or bad.”

“Overall a nice hotel intended for business travelers. Self parking is across the street and a block down - inconvenient if you have family or a lot of gear. Beds are extremely comfortable, but small for couples. Shower works and is adequate. Wireless is functional, plenty of plug ins for laptops and equipment if needed.”

“Fairly elegant establishment. The classical music piped in the lobby plus the pianist playing in the evening adds a touch of class. The pool area is nice; however, one is obviously just a step or two away from a busy freeway, while trying to lounge in the sun. Noisy with traffic.”

“Nice place to stay
if you like to pay for parking. The free lot was a pain to use. Would not stay there again simply because of this.”

“The first clerk wasn't very helpful but the rest of them were great. Clean clean hotel and very good to stay in -- expect for the parking. Also, to pay almost $6 for 15 minutes on the computer is ridiculous. Not that close to stores either.”

“Arrived to my room at 3pm, there was major construction work in progress next door. Constant jackhammer and banging noise, extremely loud. I was placed in another room, right next to a major freeway, which was not acceptable and went back to the original room. Construction ended at 5:30 pm. Would have been helpful if the front desk knew what time the construction would end, thus avoiding room change.

“First thing, parking is $16/night for valet & $10/night for self-park. Self park is a strip of parking lot a block away under the BART tracks (no attendant/security). Then there were no batteries in the remote control for the TV. First night, the live music started at 10pm and woke up my 16 month old son. I called and complained and the music continued until at least 11:30 PM. Next day, our room was not made up by housekeeping, and we did not have the privacy sign out. I had to request our room be made up the second day. Definitely one of my worst hotel stays.”

“The hotel was very pleasant and the staff generally attentive. Parking was a drag- $10 to park off-site in what felt like a very unsecured facility.”

“The hotel room was very nice. The grounds were clean, the staff friendly. The location was a 15 minute walk to downtown Walnut Creek and BART. I had no complaints. I travel all the time and this is one of my favorite affordable hotels on the West Coast!”

“Straight forward business hotel. Over priced parking considering Walnut Creek is suburban. Employees do not represent the brand very well.”
