“The hotel was in a state of renovation and everything was a mess, including service. Many things were not well at this hotel and I am sorry to have stayed there.”

“The hotel will undoubtedly live up to its rating when the renovation is complete, but right now it's very hard to find and very hard to get around. There is no central lobby, you have to walk around various temporary walkways to find anything. Weird! They should have closed until renovation is complete.”

“Should be a good value as soon as they get rid of the construction workers and their obstructions, equipment and noise.”

“The Picture on the Web and what was actually going on were two totally different ideas. Apparently, the motel was remodelling to LOOK like the picture, but WASN't even close to being completed. We were put in a room that wasn't finished, carpet hadn't been finished installing, wallpaper was peeling and masking tape was still up from fresh painting, no baseboards....Luckily a Gentleman staff member helped us out and put us in a "little" better room that at least had most things completed. I was disappointed because the description on the Web was WAY OFF, but it was quiet and easily accessible from I-90. The parking was very limited, we had to park in a church parking lot......It WILL be very nice when completed!”

“I was only at the hotel a short time, but the staff was very friendly. There were granola bars and bottles of water in the rooms. A laundry basket was in the room for the guest to take to the laundry room. My stay was very enjoyable.”

“Our window was covered in plastic, painting outside. No baseboard revealed ragged wallpaper.Housekeeping ladies were great. Enjoyed having stove, refig, dishwasher.”

“They should not have this hotel open during restoration. There was construction and painting going on while we were there. The parking was very limited. The spa was not open. There was scaffolding everywhere. It took us two drive-arounds just to find the lobby entrance!”

“Most of the rooms are studio suites which have only one bed without sofa bed, so it is not easy staying with two people if they prefer separate bed. Also, continental breakfast was somewhat poor, and in short quickly.”

“The Larkspur is an excellent option for business travelers or couples. It is not set up for families, although we were able to make it work with two small children. The facility was clean and quiet.”

“When they finish the construction this will be a very nice hotel for the business traveller. The rooms are designed well and have a full kitchen and comfortable work area.”

Tom from Richland, WA “This place is under going a remodel - had to navigate a plywood tunnel to get to a creaky elevator that went to a guest room converted into a temporary check in desk. First hotel that refused to upgrade us to double beds. Exterior lighting non-existent (nearly missed the hotel at night - after we knew where it was!). Room ok, full kitchen.”

“A gem of a hotel. Rooms are really more like luxury mini-apartments with fully-stocked kitchenette featuring full-size refrigerator, two-burner range and even a toaster!”

“This hotel was overpriced and not accurately represented as a 3-star because they are currently under construction. Some amenities advertised unavailable and the quality of the stay was lower than expected.”

“Quality budget motel with potential. If they spent a bit more on beds, it would be a deal at $20 more than I paid.”

“For a hotel that is in the middle of a renovation, we found the accomodations to be very satisfactory. The service was fine.” Amenities at Larkspur Landing Seattle/Bellevue, Bellevue
