“This hotel was convenient for my purposes (I was visiting a sick relative and in town for two days only). ”

“I can't for the life of me understand how the owners of this hotel would not fix or spruce up this hotel. It looks like something out of the 1950's and obviously hasn't been updated since then. The wallpaper was actually peeling off; the bathroom sink bowl had slight cracks in it. The hotel manager was very friendly and helpful. This hotel is really the only game in town and you'd think they'd take advantage of that fact. ”

“This hotel was located near beautiful, downtown Lafayette, CA. This is a simple, practical, clean, fair priced hotel, located in a quiet, mountain town. There are excellent restaurants, shopping and amenities, just 1/2 mile away. Hotel served a selection of teas, coffee, juice, breads, and hard boiled eggs. I appreciated the opportunity for a quick, protein and juice start for the road.”

“It's a place to sleep. would not make it a destination but if in the area and need an inexpensive place, it's fine. if you brought your own towels and shampoo would be fine. there are suites but I didn't stay in one - they might be better for a family. The only other option in Lafayette is a very beautiful but expensive "5star" spa resort. Trader Joes across the street and many stores nearby. If looking for a convenient place near Berkeley or Oakland, in the lamorinda area, or even into San Francisco and if on a budget, this place might do. But just as a place to crash - if you want a place where you can relax during the day, or have people over, this isn't really it.”
