• Right off the freeway, with easy access. Even being near the freeway it was very quiet. My room was next to the elevator and was still quiet.
• Night clerk was too chatty.

• Hotel is quiet clean, but not in a good area.
• No nearby dining, and the local delivery restaurant did not deliver.

“The beds were very comfortable. Convenient location to the freeways and nearby Marine World. The neighborhood appears to be changing for the better, but still park your car as close as you can to the lobby. Hotel staff are extremely helpful and friendly. They have good internet connection and a lobby computer for guests to use. Nice continental breakfast that I had to skip, but looked great.”

• I liked the fact that the hotel was located far enough away from a busy freeway.
• I had some issues with the hotel clerks.

“I was traveling to California with a fishing buddy. The room I got was for a room with a King bed. I required room with two beds and was told, by two different front desk girls, that the hotel was full and they could not accommodate my request for two separate beds. I proceeded on, anyway, knowing that myself or my buddy would end up sleeping on the floor. I shared my disappointment with the front desk who, thankfully, was able to get us a room with two beds.”

• The TV and cable was nice.
• Customer service wasn't very good I felt I was treated differently because room was purchased at a lower price.

“I liked the hotel but the customer service was not up to par. I was told repeatedly by the front desk that we cannot do this or that because your room was purchased over the internet I thought the statement in itself was unprofessional.”

• Clean and comfortable with useful in-room refrigerator and microwave.
• First key card did not work so I had to make an extra trip to the registration desk.

• Very noisy traffic all night long.

• The outdoor HEATED pool and hot tub.
• Doors and walls were VERY thin.

“This hotel was great. The kids enjoyed the heated pool and the staff and shuttle drivers were extremely friendly. The doors and walls were very thin so you could hear everyone out in the halls and in the other rooms. Our room was also very spacious which was very nice.”

• It was located close to Discovery Kingdom.
• Loud and not located conveniently close to restaurants.

“The service was very spotty. We asked is they had any discount tickets to the near-by theme park. The hotel clerk said no. We are watching TV in the room, and we see a channel devoted to the hotel's services that says they have discount tickets available! We asked for extra pillows (We are a family of 3 and had exactly 3 pillows in the room) they said, we can give you 1. They gave a nearby family of 4, who had reserved 2 beds for their family, a king sadly saying it was all they had available. The location is good, otherwise very expensive for fairly economical-feeling accommodations.”

• The staff was helpful in finding attractions that I asked for.
• The elevator took to long.

“I stayed on business here at this hotel and the staff was friendly, helpful and wanted to do everything they could to satisfy. I would stay here again on business or pleasure. The shower was also great, sometimes when staying at different hotels the shower pressure is not very strong.”

• Convenient location just off the freeway, nice free breakfast.
• Adjacent to road, traffic noise a bit bothersome.

“Great value for price. It's very close to the amusement park, which was fortunately closed during this time of year. Free breakfast was nice. Friendly staff. Room overlooked parking lot, so had some noise at night. My mom was in another room across the hall and said there was noise from the road. Her room also directly next to the pool, so I can only imagine how bad it would be in the summer with lots of kids running around.”
