• There were two Star bucks around the corner.
• A massive construction going on right behind the travel lodge.

“I would give it less than one star but that was not a choice above. The place was very run down. The ice machine did not work so you had to ask at the front desk and they would give you a bit. The rooms smelled like bleach and there was chipping paint in the corners. This would be fine for one night while traveling on a very tight budget and you just don't care. But we left a day early because it just wasn't worth it.”

• Ill-motivated Staff.

“Well, the location IS convenient. Evidently that alone provides them with enough business because the front desk staff could care less about otherwise running this motel. Hordes of smoking guests loiter outside non-smoking rooms having conversations loud enough to be heard inside the guest rooms even with the television at full blast. The passive-aggressive front desk staff was too timid to adequately address the issue. Even the "remodeled" interiors are marginal. The teardown must be running behind schedule because they obviously stopped investing in this property quite a while ago. Expect an Aurora Avenue motel experience located fifteen miles east on Mercer Island.”

• Inexpensive, clean, quiet.
• Overly perfumed.

“In speaking to the reservation person at the hotel, it would have been very helpful to be given directions to this motel as it was very difficult to find. Otherwise, the place was great, if a little too deodorized, and the people working there were very friendly and informative.”
