• 20 dollar parking per night!

• Omelet chef at breakfast was fantastic.
• Free internet access, but only one computer available.

“Conveniently located near many restaurants. In the heart of Oakland's Asian district. Nice library area off the lobby. Small private pool.”

• Great room.
• Valet parking was $18/day and there was not any free street parking.

“This hotel is in the heart of downtown Oakland, close to Jack London Square, Lake Merritt, the BART and many restaurants, bars and clubs. The room and bathroom were spacious, the staff and valet attendants were friendly and in general I had a great stay. I felt safe in the neighborhood and did not hear much noise from the room.”

• I like that it was big and clean and the staff were helpful.
• The area in downtown Oakland was not as safe feeling as I might have liked.

“This hotel was very nice. After checking out early from a hotel in San Francisco where we'd had a terrible experience, it was a big relief to get to this new hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was big and nice, it was quiet and safe and clean. I especially liked the 24-hour store in the lobby- that turned out to be very convenient. I also had a flat tire one morning and the valet changed my tire for me in about 5 minutes so I wouldn't be late for my appointment. Overall, our stay here was very nice and I would definitely stay here again!”

• The rooms were a decent size, clean and comfortable.
• The lobby and elevators seemed less clean than the room.

“Very good location for Magnificent Mile. Easy access to CTA for other areas. The room we had was a generous size and very clean. Good en-suite bathroom.”

• It was clean.
• Had to pay for parking. I think it should be free for guest.

“The hotel and staff was in good standing. I didn't like the fact that I had to pay for parking. Was not anticipating on paying an extra 18 buck for parking overnight. Then I was next to a room with very noisy guest. Don't know for sure if it was the staff or regular guests. The sign across the hall said staff area. Overall everyone was friendly and polite.”

• Clean, quiet and interesting park of town.
• $18/night parking.

“If you are looking for economy, be aware that the parking is $18 a night and there is no where else to park. The hotel borders Oaklands Chinatown and Preservation Park are within a reasonable walking distance. There was a farmer's market across the street on Friday. The staff was friendly. Conviently located near freeways.”

• Very comfortable and overall a nice hotel.
• They charge you 20 bucks a night for valet parking because you can't park anywhere near the hotel!

• Good size room located in Downtown Oakland.
• Location is not generally a place to be walking around late at night.

“Great location in Downtown Oakland. Friendly staff and good size rooms (as compared to the Convention Center Marriott). Free internet access in the room and computer with printer on the ground floor to print boarding pass. Not sure if the hotel is charging for parking (Valet parking only).”

• Location to pub trans and great restaurants.
• Long corridors- I was far away from front.

“This hotel room met our expectations because it was VERY convenient to our lunch the next day and my family members enjoyed the restaurant and the cleanliness of the rooms. The staff was exceptionally courteous, helpful and efficient! VERY NICE!”

• The location, cleanliness, comfort of room was terrible.
