• Location, excellent staff, quiet room with a Broadway view.
• Would describe as 2.5 star not 3 star.

“Staff was wonderful & accomodating, bed was less comfortable than I'm used to at a Marriott. Would recommend for business travelers not a romantic weekend.”

• Clean room, excellent bed.
• Had to pay $20 to park my car in hotel lot.

“I was surprised when the desk person told me that we would not be allowed to have the complimentary breakfast. The parking constitutes a small part of their business expense, but make a solid impression on the customer. I will not visit this hotel again.”

• Price.
• Location.

“This Marriot Courtyard was not up to par like others that we have stayed in. Oakland is a very scary city and we were hoping to get a hotel near the airport. I did not have an area option for Oakland. I realize I took a chance. We were frightened by the noise and we never got a the wake up call we requested. We realize that the hotel tried to keep the characters out.”

• Location.
• Parking was $20. That is a bit much, but for the nightly rate that I got, I will not complaint too much!

“This hotel is located in downtown, Friends and I were visiting from out of town, it was conveniently located to Bart, Jack London Square, there is a Smart and Final directly across the street which was nice. Chinatown was right there, everything was cool. I did look for a grocery store, Target and there was none to be found, but I guess that is typical for downtown locations. I will stay there again!”

• The beds were very hard. $20 for parking, and the food was overpriced.

“This is a very beautiful hotel. The indoor spa was very nice. Although, the beds were hard, and the breakfast buffet was overpriced for the quality.”

“Be warned the only parking available is valet parking (they will not tell you where you can park cheaper even though there are places around), they charge $20 a day. A cheap hotel room, suddenly isn't so cheap to say the least. There is also no room service which I was really surprised by.”

• Apples at the front desk, and great acoustics in spa.

“Apples were at the front desk, and we had great acoustics in the spa. I was so moved, I found myself singing. Fortunately I was alone.”

• Good quality, firm bed, clean and
  quite.
• Hotel not upfront about 20.00 valet parking price.

“I wished they would have stated up front that parking would be 20.00 I awoke to find a note left under the door stating that this charge was added to my credit card. No help or cart made available to get my luggage from the car, to the lobby. Other that that I enjoyed my room and stay.”

• Large room with free internet access.
• It is starting to show hage.

“Nice hotel, large rooms with a fridge and microwave. Very comfortable bed. Hotel is a bit worn and the rooms are showing age. I did not get my wake up call as requested.”

• I have stayed here twice now. The room is clean and comfortable. The staff has always been friendly and helpful.
• The parking charge. Located in Chinatown business district so its can be noisy.

“Comfortable, clean and a good upper moderate hotel. I have stayed here twice with no issues. Do not like the $20.00 a day parking charge and not convenient to public transportation. But, it fits my needs and I would stay here again.”
