“We booked the room, just wanted an affordable stay since we were only going to be there long enough to get about five hours of sleep before we needed to go to the airport. When we drove by the day before I was extremely disappointed with the location / safety of the area that the hotel was in. We stayed at a different hotel and had to eat the cost of the Travelog's. So basically I paid for two hotels and one we did not even check in to. I thought this was a respectable site and would not be offered a hotel that was in a unsafe area. I will share my experience and advise people of the poor service that I received.”

“Hotel is very close to the airport and to Light Rail transportation. Room had large wet spot on the carpet near front wall. Ice machine also by front wall was noisy all night. Moved to 2nd room upstairs which was a better location. Rooms smell heavily of disinfectant.”

“Although most negative reviews were written at least 2 years ago, they almost deterred me from staying there but luckily not having a lot of money and just staying a short while I overcame my fears and was glad because I saved a lot of money. A more extensive review is on Trip Advisor, with the character limitations here I would say as a single female I felt safe staying here. Most of the staff was helpful. The rooms clean, saw no unsavory people and had no problems with shuttle or wakeup calls. I would absolutely recommend this motel.”

“This is a nasty little dive that doubles as airport parking. It is run by people is strange ethnic costumes who do nothing on time and forget to give you your wake up call.”

“Room needs to be clean and lots of updates need done to the hotel. Need to update the door, door can be easily opened. Sink got clogged, toilet/sink stinks. Will not stay there again.”

“Found Haroin Paraphernalia in the sheets as we were going to bed. Dirty mattresses and cigarette burn marks all over the place in a non smoking room. Advised the front desk the very next morning and they tried to make excuses for the paraphernilia found they said "diabetics probably".”

“The hotel has a good location being about 3/4 mile from the airport. There are several restaurants nearby. The hotel is in need of an update. This hotel looks like an old apartment building with a leaning rail running the length of the building. This is a budget hotel with no clock, microwave, or iron. The rooms are dark and in need of major remodel. Women should not use this hotel alone. The rooms were clean.”

“This is not a safe area. It is close to the airport but with no security and doors opening to the street. Lots of noise and the staff were not very friendly.”

“Only thing going for this hotel is its location close to the airport. Next time I'll pay more for a nicer place. Coffee pot in room would have been nice. You get what you pay for!”

“While it is one of the most affordable hotels in the area, you get what you pay for. The area is a little rough (we never felt comfortable enough to leave our valuables in the room), a lot of street and parking lot noise (people yelling and fighting in the middle of the night). The walls are thin and the bed felt wretched. They do include a decent continental breakfast, and after asking them to reset the router, they had wireless available. The hotel has a few decent amenities, but they were all available only upon request. I wouldn't stay there alone, or if you expect to sleep well, and certainly not if I had children. They did have a 24 hour airport courtesy shuttle, but the night staff when we checked in was extremely unhelpful and difficult to work with. We actually went back into the office the next day and checked in with the day staff since the night clerk had failed to process us correctly.”

“Room was clean and the service was good. The location felt very unsafe as there were many people loitering around the parking lot. There was coiled barb wire along the back fences. Overall the free parking was the best part.”

“The staff was very polite & accommodating. I happened to be in town on mariners opening day. The motel was very full. They also changed my room at my request from 2nd to 1st floor due health problems. The shuttle to the airport was on time & the driver was very informative & helpful. I would recommend them & stay there again while in Seattle.”

“Well, the bed was broken, there were no towels, the location is very poor. The staff is friendly but that's really the only good thing about this place. Honestly, I'm surprised that Travel lodge puts their name on a place like this.”

“Our room had major plumbing noise issues, above and beyond hearing water running in the units around us. The sink faucet in our room started to vibrate whenever water was turned on in the other units. It made screeching noises loud and long enough to wake us up during the night (and we were using ear plugs.) However, the worst part of our stay was the hostile reception I got from the hotel owner/manager when I calmly and nicely mentioned the situation as we were leaving in the morning. He refused to let me talk, saying they were normal noises, he knew the motel better than we did, etc. I don't know if I'll ever stay in another Travelodge again.”

“I arrived late. I believe they had already rented my room out and gave me the room that was not available. Everything was broken. It smelled like acetone and cigarettes. It was a nonsmoking room. The table was broken. The switches were broken, the lights were burnt out.”
