Cleanliness:[3] • Staff:[6] • Location:[2]

  • Staff were good, ease of parking.
  • The place is a dump.

“Although the staff were friendly, the hotel is run down and too far from the international airport. If there is traffic it takes too long to get to the terminal.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[6] • Location:[7]

  • Interesting location, 4 miles away of airport but it worked for me.
  • The alarm clock in the room didn't work.

“This Red Lion is four miles north on the south Seattle city limits. Very good location for me though. I liked this hotel overall. Pretty quiet and out of the way yet close to anything and everything.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[8] • Location:[8]

  • Good location, good price.
  • I asked for a new key to my room--desk clerk gave it to me without checking my identification. Scary!

“A pleasant hotel in a busy, semi-industrial part of South Seattle. Only half the rooms are wired for wireless internet, which is a hassle if you want it and don't get there in time for one of the wired rooms. Room was pleasant and clean.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[3] • Location:[5]

  • Beds to hard. To hot. Bathroom to small. TV bad.

“Check in staff needs sensitivity training toward disabled persons, and other guests. Had to squat down so low to use commode. Oriental Restaurant not identifiable until sat down. Very limited food outside oriental type. Steak we had was good though. Service was lacking though. Motel 6 beats this place.”

Cleanliness:[2] • Staff:[2] • Location:[2]

  • Prompt pickup and delivery shuttle to and from airport.
  • Only select rooms had internet. Bad (stale) in room.

“Badly needs cleaning of air filters in room. It was difficult to sleep and there was no adjustments for heat control.”

Cleanliness:[5] • Staff:[8] • Location:[2]

  • Personnel friendly, courteous, having an extra mirror and sink separate from bath facilities was nice.
  • Unpleasant smell.

“Would have preferred someplace closer to the airport. Had we needed to go to the airport at a later time in the day, the traffic would have been terrible, and it would have taken much longer to get there than we anticipated. With a senior citizen discount, $20 more would have gotten us a 3 star room VERY near the airport.”

Cleanliness:[3] • Staff:[4] • Location:[3]

  • There was enough parking.
  • Dated and old, it looked like no money had been spent on repairs for a while. Also I was given a smoking room.

“The hotel was well worn, the room stunk of cigarette smoke, the front desk person was friendly but peculiar acting.”

Cleanliness:[2] • Staff:[2] • Location:[2]

  • Reasonable rates and a convenient hourly shuttle to the airport.
  • Lousy restaurant.

“This hotel is convenient for a short one night stay for people traveling through SeaTac. It is 5 miles from the airport but offers an hourly shuttle. There are no restaurants nearby and the restaurant in the hotel is only so-so. I would not recommend this hotel for picky travelers.”

Cleanliness:[6] • Staff:[6] • Location:[5]

  • It was cheap and clean
  • Beds were noisy, night manager was sleeping.

“The Red Lion Seattle South is about 5 miles north of the Airport. It's easy to find, and not in a bad spot. It in an industrial area, you can't really walk to anything from the hotel. The rooms are clean and intact, but the beds are very firm and noisy. Oddly, no Weather Channel on the TV. It's not a bad place to stay ”

Cleanliness:[3] • Staff:[7] • Location:[2]

  • Staff pleasant. Computer hookup was most convenient.
  • Access. Food. Room air.

“The worst motel I've stayed in for a while. It's going broke, I guess. Access doors didn't respond to keys. No phone books. The food at their "Thai" restaurant was worse than bad. It was disgusting. Inedible. Boiled ground pork on gummy rice sprinkled with lemon juice and a huge wedge of raw cabbage on the side.”

Cleanliness:[1] • Staff:[1] • Location:[1]

  • It was open at 11:30 p.m.
  • Overall it was a lousy experience

“The hotel was unclean. The guy at the front desk was very testy and actually challenged the customer behind me. There was an annoying malfunction light outside. I had to walk outside in the dark to my room and then up to a second floor; no elevator. Quite unsafe coming around bushes and having to get into a building that was wide open to anyone. The room was less than one star.”

  • Very accomodating please read the rest of my review...

“It is reasonably priced for a 14 day park and fly with a one night stay. We were pleasantly surprised when they said renovations were being done at Red Lion South and that they would shuttle us to Red Lion Seatac which accomodated us for the one night. We still had to park our car at Red Lion South but the shuttle would pick us up at the airport on our return flight. This is our second time using Red Lion South. It's not the handsomest place but it works for a one night stay and park and fly.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[9] • Location:[6]

  • The price was great and the free computer and internet access.
  • The room was a bit small and the building a bit old. Location was very out of the way.

“If you have a rental car or know your way on public transit this hotel could be a great bargain. Otherwise it is quite far from any shopping or dining facilities. Overall it is still worthwhile as the staff are friendly and helpful. ”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[7] • Location:[7]

  • Free internet access and printing
  • Hard to locate due to no entrance and exit signs, no heated pool and no continental breakfast.

“Staff is not trained well with directions to attractions. The entrance to the hotel is not easy to find, spent more than 10 minutes to drive around.”
