“Very simple facilities, no frills but a bit depressing. The hotel is built like a motel, and the lobby does not connect easily with other parts of the hotel (like the rooms on the first floor where we stayed).”

• Near SeaTac Airport and car rental return. Staff very friendly and helpful.
• Finding my room was inconvienient. Hallways confusing and needed wallpaper reglued.

“It is a comfortable place to stay with clean rooms and ultra comfortable bed. Lobby very nice but wallpaper in room hallways needs some upkeep. Odd entry to hotel by car.”

• Close to the SeaTac.
• Very old and seemed dirty. Shuttle service was very poor and office staff was rude.

“We arrived late at night and it took 30 minutes for the courtesy shuttle to arrive. The hotel was located about 5 minutes away. The front office was rude and indirect in advising the shuttle status.”

• Close to airport, courtesy shuttle.
• The room was clean, yet it smelled. Water faucet was dripping.

“Over all this was a relatively good hotel. The part I did not like was that the air was not very fresh. We needed to turn on the air conditioner or the exhaust system to make it bearable.”

“It is an older hotel that has been added to a couple of times, if your room is at the other end, be sure to ask which the closest door to the room is. That is unless you feel the need for a long walk.”

• The pool and hot tub area was pretty nice. The pool temp was great!
• A lot of areas were dirty and worn looking. For the price, it was not the best by far!

“The rooms were nice and the beds were very comfortable. The towels were big and fluffy too. The first concern that I had was that the halls and stairways were not all that clean looking. A lot of the wallpaper was peeling and there was dirt and cobwebs in the corners. The walls of the hot tub needed scrubbing because there was scum on them. My second concern was that, for the price we were charged, this hotel was definitely not up to par! We have stayed at far nicer, less expensive hotels and been spoiled rotten! This hotel has a long way to go before I would feel that way. How about a nice continental breakfast? Or a newspaper in the morning? Simple pleasures that make a stay way more comfortable. These little things make me want to come back again. Now I know where I won't stay again.”

“The hotel is a short 5-minute drive by shuttle to airport. Long-term parking is reasonable and is the hotels own parking lot. Nothing luxurious about the hotel, but the room was reasonable, clean, and had all the basic amenities.”

• The location was good. Very close to the airport and easy freeway access.
• The hotel was badly furnished, poorly staffed, smelled bad, uncomfortable bed.

“I strongly recommend against staying at this hotel. The first clue that this short stay was not going to be comfortable was that the hotel staff were blasting COPS on the lobby television as I registered and were unpleasant to each other. The hotel smelled of mold and dust. The carpeting was sticky and crusty (at the same time!), and this is just describing the hallways. Our room was supposed to have had a queen bed, but was a full. When I pointed this out, they actually argued with me that I was confused about what a queen bed looked like. Our room's furniture was dented and damaged, with a bad re-staining done to attempt to hide the damage. We couldn't open our window without the window pane pulling from the glass. The curtains had mold spots on them. The air conditioning unit left large wet pools on the carpet below it and the face of the unit was barely hanging on, with large gaps. The pillows on our bed were 3/4 inch thick. When I requested two extra pillows, they did deliver them rather quickly and the gal who dropped them off was pleasant. That's the best I can say about the place. Please pay the extra $20 and stay somewhere else. The only way this hotel could have been worse is if we'd actually seen the bugs we were sure were there.”

“My opinion on the Clarion is that it is a older hotel and has somewhat had a little bit of a face lift but not enough. I stay at many hotels and for the price we paid that evening - I could have stayed at a much nicer hotel.”
