• Stay if you want to be depressed .

“A very rundown place. I don't think anything has been replaced in 30 years. The rooms have heating/AC units that sounds like a car without a muffler. The carpets, sheets and towels are threadbare. The cable on the TV's are snowy and without sound on basic channels. Aside from a bar of soap, there are no amenities.”

• The hotel was in close proximity to the downtown area.
• The non smoking room reeked if cigarette.

“Though the hotel was relatively close to the downtown area, as well as the stadium, it was not that nice. Granted, a friend and I only needed a place to sleep for the night, and for that purpose alone, it was excellent. Unfortunately, the hotel staff was rude, the room smelled of cigarette (even though we were threatened with paying an additional fine if we smoked), and the walls were paper thin. A somewhat clean room with a fridge and microwave made it better.”

• Most of the staff did try to be very helpful.
• They would not let me check in at 3:00 like your confirmation said-no continental breakfast either.

“Rates were high for the quality of room and services. Overall, the staff was helpful.”

• Perfect Location for the event I was attending.
• Old, rundown, way over-priced.

“Great location for the start of the Seattle to Portland Bicycle classic, but the hotel room I was in was very rundown and not worth half of what we were charged.”
