• Very easy in and out. Very comfortable room.
• Nothing.

“From the lobby to the room, it was a very nice hotel. We were in town for a concert and would definitely recommend this to friends and family. Great shower and very comfortable bed.”

• Free parking, free use of computer/internet, free breakfast, good climate control in room.
• Very hard mattress, some airplane noise, doors slam loudly.

“Great location near many restaurants, shopping and freeways, easy commute to downtown Seattle. Friendly staff. Better than average breakfast buffet, free use of computers/internet in business center, free parking, pool, laundry room. Room and public areas were very clean.”

• Location in Federal Way.
• Our room had no desirable decor. Stain on Ceiling.

“Not recommended for romantic stay but this is close to shopping in Federal Way. We had a Non Smoking room however, when we entered, it smelled like it was just flipped from smoking. I would rate this hotel as a 2+ star. Also, I started out trying to get a 3+ star hotel in Tacoma and could not so I added Federal Way and increased price.”

• Close to freeway.
• Having to pay for an HBO movie.

“HBO is part of the regular TV channel listing and comes up as you toggle through the channels with the remote. If you choose to watch an HBO movie you are not prompted to accept the billing before watching the movie, or are you made aware that all HBO movies are pay per view. It appears that the hotel hides the pay for view movies within the HBO channel only to catch you for the billing; ridiculous!”

• The staff was very friendly and our hotel room was clean.
• The breakfast buffet could have been better.

“Our stay at the hotel was pleasant. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean. We definitely recommend this hotel. It's in a great location, close to everything.”

• Night time staff was friendly. Good breakfast bar.
• Day time staff was horrible. Poor Customer Service, average rooms and some problems with cleanliness and electricity.

“The rooms were reasonably clean, the King sized rooms are great, ample room and a queen fold-out bed for kiddos. I would plan to pay the upgraded fee to get a king room if traveling with children. Pool is OK, common areas are well-kept and comfortable. Breakfast bar is fantastic! Room was odd though, using the micro overloaded the circuit and our room and the neighboring one kept losing power. They had to reset the circuit breaker at the box several times, which tells me there could be a fire waiting to happen. I would stay there again.”

• Continental breakfast buffet, in great condition.
• Doors to room closes very slowly. Can be good or bad.

“I'd like to see a fitness center, even with the passes to Bally's I never ended up going, but I know if there had been a fitness center in the hotel I would have gone. Staff got a little testy upon my late check out, which was completely my fault, but could have been handled with slightly more finesse. Also, I had my do not disturb sign up the first morning of my stay until 2 pm. After that I left, I figured housekeeping would check back. They didn't. I didn't get back until 7 pm and my room hadn't been cleaned. It wasn't too dirty. However, the next day I had my DND sign up also, but I called as soon as I was ready for them to clean it. Though it was only about 4:30 pm I was told there was no one to clean the room (only housekeepers left were laundry people). I understand staffing hours but housekeeping seems over eager to skip over a room to be able to go home sooner.”

• The air conditioner worked.
• Everything else.

“This hotel does not have a restaurant. It has a marginal buffet breakfast open for a few hours in the morning. It has no room service. There are no kitchenettes or separate food area, you have to use the bathroom counter in the bathroom. There is no excercise facilities. Overall, not a 3-star rating as it was portrayed to be.”

• Petty, but outside appearance doesn't match inside.

“We were very satisfied with this hotel. The updated rooms were very clean. We loved the free full scale breakfast with eggs, sausage, waffles, etc. The free wireless internet was also a plus. They also now offer complimentary use of the gym next door. The only negative thing I have to say about the hotel, which doesn't affect the overall service of the place, is the outside appearance. It needs to be updated. Could also change the star rating from 3 to a 2.5 to match the nearby Courtyard and LaQuinta.”

• The staff was so kind and they did not tolerate loud, disruptive guests, but the guests were still really disruptive and loud.
• I wish there would have been a security guard at night. I also wish there was more than one person working the front desk at night, too.

“The hotel was perfectly fine. Unfortunately, 4 out of 5 nights there were really loud tourists and kids running down the halls late at night. I had to go down and ask the front desk to please ask them to be quiet. I really loved the continental breakfast, but a few mornings the food was running very low. I appreciated the free pass to the Bally's gym next door, very much. I would stay here again, but only on the top floor. The wonderful staff is what will make me return.”

• The hot breakfast was above average: eggs, waffles, potatoes, etc.
• I really can't complain at that price!

“We had to see my mother in law for mothers day, but I had a nice getaway staying at this hotel. It was close to food, entertainment, park for 2 kids under 2 and had a nice hot breakfast buffet. Also had gym passes but we didn't use them. And they just opened their lounge, but we didn't go there either. Very nice/comfortable.”

• We enjoyed the breakfast. Nice lobby, too.
• The room smelled like smoke. And we were repeatedly bothered by staff knocking at our door.

“We wish the cleaning staff had been a little more professional, however. One came into our room without knocking (obviously not knowing we had checked in early).”
