• Close proximity to the interstate.

“Hotel was close to highway and Napa. Enjoyed the on-site restaurant and reasonable prices.”

• Leaving the property.
• There was no hot water.

“No hot water in the room and the staff denied there was a problem. The outside areas were not set up with chairs or anything. The restaurant staff was less than helpful.”

• I liked the convenience of the location.
• I strongly disliked the smell of the sheets on the bed.

“The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. Unfortunately the sheets on the bed had the strong set of cleaning agent that I found offensive.”

• Marriott check-in efficient and fast.

“My stay at the Marriott napa valley was pleasant. Staff was efficient. The lounge with complimentary drinks and appetizers was an added benefit at the concierge level. Easy to get to, and well maintained.”

• The beds were the most comfortable I've ever experienced at a hotel. Lovely, down, white, perfect for sleeping after a long day of wine tasting.
• The pool's pump broke. The pool is also never heated, which wasn't good.

“The staff is friendly and accommodating, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the continental breakfast is delicious and filling. The location is central to many stellar wineries. It seems like the hotel would be family-friendly, as well, as it is close to Trader Joe's grocery store, etc. The carpeting is new and nice, although a bit gaudy - slightly Las Vegas - looking. Our view wasn't great, but wasn't horrible - looked out over a parking lot, but was still a sunny day, and a football field was just across the street. The building seems like perhaps it belonged to another older chain previously, and the Marriott is working on making it more up-to-date. The restaurant needs some aesthetic work.”

• It was convenient, easy to find, had nice rooms and friendly staff.

“The room was pleasantly decorated, had a comfortable bed and was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful in providing us with maps and ideas for things to do in the area. It's location was convenient and easy to find. We were very pleased.”

• Staff was accommodating and friendly.
• A
  bit of a walk to the fitness area but understandable considering the hotel is two story and stretched out.

“I would stay there again and also recommend it to our friends. The people in charge of the early wine in lobby were a bit rude and seemed a bit put-off for me to ask if there was something other than wine to drink or even water. It was exclusive for only those who wished to drink wine, no other options for non wine drinkers. We were disappointed that the pool was not heated at all and therefore could not be brave enough to get in but the hot tub was nice.”
