• Nice room layout with separate bedroom and the location.
• Under construction in lobby and hallways, no air-conditioning, poor work out room, freezing pool.

“We liked the location of the hotel. There was much of it under construction: lobby, hallways (carpet, wallpaper etc.) and fitness room was missing several pieces of equipment. The biggest problem was the lack of air-conditioning. It was 82 degrees and humid in the room. We told the staff about the problem and they said they were sorry and would let someone know.”

• Being renovated but we knew that!

“Enjoyed the Jacuzzi indoor and outdoor. Enjoyed the outdoor pool. Very accommodating about pick up and delivery all over Seattle. Room was beautiful-- wonderful bed, linens, granite counter kitchen and bar, microwave, dishwasher, stove, and provisions. We loved it-- and the colors were wonderful. Big flat screen TV, WOW!”

“We have stayed here for years and years and years! It was "Summerfield Suites" and soon to be a "Homewood Suites by Hilton". The one bedroom suites are very comfortable and you literally can walk to everything!”

• Worn out mattress.

“This hotel is undergoing remodeling, so it had a bit of construction mess. The location was very convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice. The complementary breakfast was nice. The only bad thing was a worn out mattress that was too sloped towards the middle - ok for one person but uncomfortable for two.”

• Room could use a bit of updating.

“Very good value. Not far from everything in downtown but you get more space with the suites at half the price of a nearby hotel room. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch. Not super quality but you can't beat the price. On the whole, I¿m looking forward to returning to Seattle and more than likely will return to this place.”

• A $21 charge for the hotel parking without prior notice to me.

• The facility provides a relaxed atmosphere with access to pool, downtown shopping, and pike place market and space needle.
• Continental breakfast ended too early (0930) probably for our late night hours, late waking.

• Separate room¿s bedroom, living room (2 TV¿s), and kitchen.
• Breakfast ended at 9:30am.

“We were very impressed with this hotel. We stayed the second night at the renaissance hotel and we liked this one better. We really liked the different room¿s bedroom, living room, 2 TV¿s, kitchen. The parking attendants were especially nice.”

• Location, roomy room, nice staff.
• Sofa bed borderline comfort.

“Excellent location for downtown Seattle. Nice rooms. Someone has to suffer a little if using the sofa bed. If there more than one night, kitchen convenient.”

• The continental breakfast was superb.
• Pretty steep hill climb back to the hotel if you are walking.

“Our overall experience with this stay was our best. We think it was the best deal we have had so far, and the best accommodations even when compared to 4 star hotels.”

“This hotel is located very close to shopping and Pikes Market, just a block from the convention center. What a great location! The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. They have a free shuttle that takes you to 4 different locations in Seattle, Safeco and Qwest Field being one of them. The continental breakfast was very good and unexpected, they use Tully's coffee and was VERY good, unlike most places that serve weak coffee. The suite was large and comfortable, they have a nice little courtyard with small pool and hot tub.”

• The staff was very helpful in meeting our needs & very friendly.
• The carpeting was just cleaned, so the floors were still very wet to walk on. Also, the room was very humid, when entering.

“If ever in Seattle again, I would be considering staying here. However, the location could be a bit closer to the downtown area, so the walking up and down hill wouldn't be as bad. The staff, however, made up for the distance between the hotel and the downtown area.”

• We were mistakenly given an occupied room and had to change rooms

“The hotel was conveniently located in downtown Seattle but parking was extra. The breakfast variety was wonderful and the fitness room equipment was good. Not sure why we were given a room key of an occupied room but it was quickly remedied. I'm just glad nobody was in the room at the time.”

• The rooms are sub-standard for the rates they are charging.

• Great location, lots of space in the rooms, clean rooms.
• Rude attitude of one of the shuttle drivers, majority of them were very helpful. Shuttle was not always available when needed.

“Overall this was a great hotel to stay with a family. The breakfast was good, the kids loved the waffles and donuts. The hotel was located in a great location, walking distance to most things. There was a shuttle available, not to and from the airport, for near by attractions. Most of the drivers were very helpful but it wasn't always available when needed.”
