  • The waiter at the restaurant was very kind.
  • The front desk sent us on our way with in 2 minutes of check in.

“Everything was just okay, nothing wow. I was a little shocked we had to pay for parking at the hotel. Not a family friendly place.”

  • Very comfortable bed and room.
  • Bathroom, non-absorbent towels, ridiculous parking fee.

“A good, solid 3 star hotel. Very clean, efficient. Helpful staff. People who like walking will find it convenient to downtown attractions, but it is 4-10 blocks from most things. I-5 freeway is on the east side and rooms facing it will have some noise (at least at lower levels). In our north facing room we could hear the freeway some but personally, it was not a problem for us, just slight, white noise. Those who are really looking for a 4 star hotel &/or someplace right in the middle of the business/shopping district, or highly trendy, fashionable decor might be disappointed. In which case, either pull out your credit card and pay for the 4 star or don't complain. We found it convenient, friendly and comfortable.”

“This was a nice hotel, especially for the money. It was hard to park and get to places for food for the kids. The gym and pool were great.”

  • The bed was enormous and incredibly comfortable.
  • The fitness facility was too small and crowed.

“A little far from the heart of Downtown but clean and safe.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] • Location:[7]

  • Luxury hotel in downtown. Seattle with an extremely friendly and helpful staff.
  • Located just off of a main freeway.

“Centrally located, a short distance from the heart of the downtown area. I would rate this a 4 star plus hotel. It was luxurious, clean, the staff was very friendly and the view was great from the 28th floor restaurant/lounge. It was the best find of my vacation to Seattle.”

  • Nice decor, very clean.
  • Inconvenient location.

“Hotel staff friendly and accommodating. Got a really nice corner room that was quiet and very clean. Nice Decor. Location was a little inconvenient-as the hotel was located up on a huge hill. Quite a walk to major Seattle sights.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[1] • Location:[9]

  • Close to down town.
  • They dont tell you that it cost 30 to park in the garage! They tell you your parking is validated then slip a bill under your door for 30 bucks!

“The location of the hotel was good. It was with in walking distance of everything. Parking left a bad taste in my mouth because they were sneaky about it!”

“Great location downtown, walked to everything. Stayed on the 26th floor since I'm a Marriott Rewards member and got free breakfast and access to club lounge. Would stay again in a minute.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[7] • Location:[8]

  • The room is really nice and it had a great view of the Downtown!
  • The check in person was not friendly at all but other staff was nice enough.

“I like this hotel because of the price. We stayed at the 22nd Floor so it has a nice view of Downtown. We spend so much outside that we didn't actually saw anything inside the hotel except the room.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[9] • Location:[10]

  • I really liked your use of mirrors surrounding the bathroom. Even though bathroom was small there were plenty of mirrors for makeup, hair, dress, etc.
  • The bathroom was small and not easy for 2 people to motor around in there.

“I enjoyed my stay at the Renaissance very much. It has a very large lobby that makes it quite comfortable when a lot of people are checking with nice areas for relaxation. The room was comfortable, bathroom was small but a great use of mirror placement as far as options for 2 people getting ready. There was always a cab available at curbside. The location is fabulous if you want to be downtown - easy walking distance to everything.”
