  • The valet parking staff was helpful and nothing short of amazing!
  • No free internet in the room.

“Pretty darn cool getaway hotel situated a short walk to the Public Market. The lobby area is almost opulent, the hallways wide and well lit. The colors were vibrant, the fabrics rich.”

  • The staff was excellent.
  • The parking charge!

“This was a fun hotel to stay in. Not your usual "run of the mill" decor. The staff was VERY helpful and friendly.”

  • Friendly staff, great room for a great price.
  • No view at all from room.

“This is a fun place to stay in Seattle. It has a great location, a very warm and friendly atmosphere and a boutique hotel decor. Guests were mingling happily at the happy hour and coffee gatherings. Our room was delightful with a huge jacuzzi tub and a very comfortable bed. The adjacent restaurant had a wonderful happy hour menu and was lively to boot. We would definitely return.”

  • Rooms were nicely decorated.
  • Very small room, noisy.

“ The hotel charged us $43 to park our car overnight and didn't disclose the cost until the next morning. Our room was near a stairwell where inconsiderate employees were slamming doors all night. The room was so small my partner and I were having to shimmy around each other as we walked around, same with the bathroom, we couldn't both fit in the bathroom at the same time. The hotel put a huge hold on my bank account without notifying me they were doing so, nor asking if I wanted the charges to be held on a different card than I paid with making some transactions not go through and ended up costing me quite a few overdrafts. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. ”

  • The beds were a little hard.

“ What a treat to have wine tasting, a great happy hour, and a nice lounge. It was also within walking distance of everything we wanted. ”

  • Location, friendly staff, evening reception (but missed it).
  • The beds were really uncomfortable and the $40.00 parking charge was too high.

“It was a smaller boutique style hotel, nice service and good location.”

  • Unique, gave gifts, Aveda bath products.
  • Parking fee, no pool or hot tub.

“Nice hotel, very unique furnishings and amenities, great gifts for kids awaits in room, but no pool or jacuzzi. Honor bar prices were expensive.”

  • Great location for our tourist needs. Nice/helpful staff.
  • The striped pattern of the rooms wall paper. Not good for a migrain sufferer. No refridge or microwave.

“The staff was great. They went out of their way to find a special item for me. The goldfish were a pleasant surprise. The only thing that I disliked were the striped patterns on the hotel room walls.”

  • Location, large comfortable rooms, wine tasting.
  • Parking fee of $40, by the time your done with taxes and tips for one night, it was $60! For parking!

“Nice friendly hotel, we didn't' take in too much. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant, participated in the wine tasting and psychic event. The HAVOC in our room had an annoying chirping sound all night long, we could have said something but it was late and we didn't even want to think about changing rooms. Overall We liked it and would return.”

  • Excellent wine reception with fortune-teller!
  • Lack of pool, expensive parking, small bathtub!

“My husband and I are much more likely to stay in a fairly inexpensive chain hotel than an upscale boutique hotel such as the Hotel Monaco, but for the price we got the room, we definitely won out! The room was comfortable, very quiet (didn't hear anything, even street noise from the main road right below), and nicely decorated. The lobby is well decorated but still casual and comfortable. The wine reception hour was a lot of fun - we met with friends and really enjoyed our complimentary fortune readings. The fortune teller who was circulating among the crowd was very patient with one rather annoying member of our party who never stops talking, ever. And the concierge was very accommodating with my husband, who probably had more than his fair share of the wine (which was excellent, by the way).”
