“ This was a beautiful hotel and outside the box of your larger, chain hotels. Our room was amazing. Beautifully decorated and by far the largest room I have ever stayed in. An incredibly large deck outside was a nice surprise, albeit the view was office buildings. However, the view did not detract for enjoying the outside space in the least. The Bookstore lounge was a perfect place to end the evening of listening to jazz at a club within walking distance. One block from the waterfront--it was perfect. Pikes Market in close walking distance as well. The only complaint I would have was the parking charge. Would definitely stay here next time I am in Seattle. ”

  • Spacious rooms with very high ceilings.
  • No counter space in the bathroom.

“Gorgeous and very clean hotel with spacious rooms. The beds were heavenly. The room was quiet and very well appointed.”

  • The friendliness and professionalism of the staff was superb.

“ Our stay at this exceeded our expectations. The staff was friendly and eager to please and the location allowed us to park our car and walk everywhere in Seattle's downtown area including the waterfront markets. There are many restaurants and cozy Cafe's/coffee shops in close proximity to the hotel. We'll be back and have already recommended it to family and friends. ”

  • The hotel staff, including the bellman, were very genuine and helpful.
  • The location is close to Pike Place, but this particular street is semi-dangerous.

“Quite nice interior, with very nice rooms. Although I didn't use the bar downstairs, it looked like a very nice place to have a quiet conversation.”

  • Location, cleanness and quality of 4-star grade and price I paid.

  • Location to hub of Seattle.
  • Cost $7.00 for a bottle of water in the room.

“WONDERFUL soft beds, with luxury bedding. No shower cap available in room, but they did provide me one when asked. All in all, was a great visit.”

  • I loved all the art, the furnishings and fixtures, the complimentary hot toddies in the evening, and the location.
  • The only thing missing is a free continental breakfast.

“I love this hotels sense of style. The room was so inspiring and tastefully decorated. The amenities were lovely. The only thing missing was a free breakfast and in room coffee makers. They do serve complimentary coffee in the lobby till 9 or 9:30am but we were lucky we got up in time to get it. (not that you are very far away from a coffee shop in any part of Seattle). I would love to stay here again. And next time I will bring my dog! (My only one negative was that the womens lobby restroom stall doors would not stay closed and they clearly need new fixtures. But this is the lobby, not the rooms, so its not that big of a deal.) I love the Alexis!”

  • Comfortable beds, friendly staff.
  • Had to stay with one king & pullout rather than 2 queens.

“Staff was very accommodating. Very comfortable and upscale hotel in good location.”

  • Eco friendly and gave us free parking because we drive a Prius.
  • Power washing the outside of building while we were there.

“They were very friendly and helpful while we were there. Provided valuable directions and information that made our stay pleasant. The $10 million in renovations were beautifully done and made this older hotel seem band new.”

  • Clean, comfortable, and centrally located.
  • Hair dryer available but not in the room, no shuttle to the hotel from the airport.

“My husband and I always hate staying at hotels because they never feel clean. The rooms are usually dark, dimly light, and no matter how often the rooms are cleaned, they just don't feel clean. The Alexis is completely different. The room we stayed in was painted in a light color and felt very fresh. The room had big windows letting in lots of light. Everything felt so clean that we didn't feel like we had to sanitize everything we touched. The bathroom floor was marble and felt cleaner than other places we have visited. The bed was comfortable, and the small sitting area was wonderful when we were resting our tired feet. I loved the director of pet relations. It was great to stay in a pet-friendly hotel that didn't smell like it! I would gladly tell any of my friends or family about this hotel. In fact, I already have!”

  • Beautiful atmosphere friendly staff.
  • Late night room service menu was inadequate.

“Beautiful atmosphere with a great staff. From the moment valet takes your car until you check out the staff will cater to your whims. They had extensive knowledge of the area, restaurants and activities. The lobby is beautiful! The room was gorgeous and the beds were comfortable.”

  • Beautiful, art-filled boutique hotel with huge rooms
  • $34 to park!

“This is a great hotel in the heart of Seattle. Formerly condos, the rooms are very large and featured a separate sitting area. The complimentary wine hour was very nice. The front desk recommend an excellent restaurant for dinner and made a reservation for us.”

  • Excellent location to all activities in Seattle. Easy walking-close to great dining and piers. Very safe area for women.

“Room was beautiful-location excellent-only two blocks from the water and piers for boat trips and dining. Easy walking to all locations of interest in Seattle. Did not need a rental car because most of the public transportation is efficient and free. Many excellent resturants in the area. Would choose this Hotel again and again. Definately will recomend the Alexis Hotel to all of my friends.”

  • The artwork hanging around the hotel was gorgeous!
  • The traffic noise that I could hear from my room.

“This hotel was elegant with great attention to detail in every aspect of our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful at all times. Our room was stunning and luxurious, and the artwork throughout the hotel was beautiful. The great location offered us an opportunity to get around on foot and see as much as we possibly could. We enjoyed every second of our stay and were sad to leave after only one night.”
